Definitions
- the invention relates to a holder for a extraction tool, in particular chisels for the cutting or peeling extraction of raw material or machining of rock, with a holder body having a pocket for receiving the extraction tool, which is firmly connected to a corresponding extraction or boring machine.
- round or flat chisels are used on extraction or tunneling machines, which are fastened in pockets by appropriate holders.
- these holders are subject to more or less severe wear. Since the holders are usually welded to a roller, drill or planer body, they can only be replaced with very great effort, particularly in underground coal mining. Since, in addition to the conventional holders, such holders with an integrated spraying device are also used in particular underground, wear of such very cost-intensive holders has a particularly disadvantageous effect.
- the invention is therefore based on the object of further developing and developing the above-mentioned holder for a extraction tool so that the wear of the holder body is minimized so as to extend its service life.
- holders already in use can be equipped with appropriate wear protection.
- a holder body in the region of its main wear tracks has a plurality of wear protection elements protruding from the holder body, which are fastened in recesses provided in the holder body.
- the wear protection elements not only wear much more slowly than the material of the holder, but also counteract the direct attack of the minerals on the holder body by a certain cutting or shattering effect. This leads to a considerable extension of the holder service life and thus to a significantly longer service life of the cutting head, the cutting rollers or other devices on which the holders are attached.
- Pins are particularly preferably used as wear protection elements, but the use of other geometric bodies, for example spherical wear protection elements, is also possible within the scope of the invention.
- Pins made of hard metal or also of coated (for example with diamond) hard metal can be used as wear protection elements.
- Such pins can have a cylindrical, polygonal, for example octagonal, or plate-shaped basic shape.
- the wear protection elements can be soldered, shrunk in, pressed in, glued in or attached in some other way into the recesses, for example designed as bores. In this way, it is also possible to introduce wear protection elements from holders already connected to a mining machine.
- the bores are arranged at a predetermined angle obliquely to the surface of the holder body. In this way - depending on the position of the holder body on the machine - the optimal wear protection for a holder body can be achieved.
- the wear protection elements can be placed anywhere in the holder body.
- the number and the exact position of the pins, balls etc. to be inserted depends on the position of the holder on the machine, since this determines the main wear plane and main wear direction.
- the arrangement of the wear protection elements on the wear surfaces, viewed in the cutting direction is aligned or offset with respect to one another.
- the wear protection elements on the holder body take place on one side, ie only on the right or left, or that the wear protection elements are arranged on both sides of the holder.
- the holder according to the invention for a extraction tool consists first and foremost of a holder body 1 which is firmly connected to an extraction or boring machine, not shown.
- the holder body 1 has a bore 2 for receiving a round shank chisel or the like, not shown. on.
- a steel bushing 3 can also be provided in the bore 2 for receiving the chisel shank.
- the holder body 1 now has a plurality of wear protection elements 4 protruding from the holder body 1 in the region of its main wear tracks.
- the wear protection elements 4 shown can be designed as hard metal pins which have been introduced into recesses 5 in the holder body 1.

Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a holder for a extraction tool, in particular chisels for the cutting or peeling extraction of raw material or machining of rock, with a holder body having a pocket for receiving the extraction tool, which is firmly connected to a corresponding extraction or boring machine.
For the extraction of raw materials in tunnel construction, tunnel construction and other related areas, round or flat chisels are used on extraction or tunneling machines, which are fastened in pockets by appropriate holders. Depending on the use of the extraction tool, these holders are subject to more or less severe wear.
In the past, a large number of attempts have been made to extend the service life of the holder by means of armouring of wear-resistant materials without, however, achieving economically relevant success. Such a holder is known from AT-A-334 854.
The invention is therefore based on the object of further developing and developing the above-mentioned holder for a extraction tool so that the wear of the holder body is minimized so as to extend its service life. In particular, it is desirable that holders already in use can be equipped with appropriate wear protection.
This object is achieved in a holder according to the preamble of
Pins are particularly preferably used as wear protection elements, but the use of other geometric bodies, for example spherical wear protection elements, is also possible within the scope of the invention.
Pins made of hard metal or also of coated (for example with diamond) hard metal can be used as wear protection elements. Such pins can have a cylindrical, polygonal, for example octagonal, or plate-shaped basic shape.
The wear protection elements can be soldered, shrunk in, pressed in, glued in or attached in some other way into the recesses, for example designed as bores. In this way, it is also possible to introduce wear protection elements from holders already connected to a mining machine.
According to a further teaching of the invention, the bores are arranged at a predetermined angle obliquely to the surface of the holder body. In this way - depending on the position of the holder body on the machine - the optimal wear protection for a holder body can be achieved.
The wear protection elements can be placed anywhere in the holder body. The number and the exact position of the pins, balls etc. to be inserted depends on the position of the holder on the machine, since this determines the main wear plane and main wear direction. Thus, it is possible within the scope of the invention that the arrangement of the wear protection elements on the wear surfaces, viewed in the cutting direction, is aligned or offset with respect to one another. Depending on the position of the holder, it is also possible that the wear protection elements on the holder body take place on one side, ie only on the right or left, or that the wear protection elements are arranged on both sides of the holder.

The holder according to the invention for a extraction tool consists first and foremost of a
It can quickly be seen that the arrangement and number of
