Abstract

The locking device proposed comprises basically a retaining unit with which the slider, which is connected to the pivoting arm of a door closing system and slides along a guide rail, can be held in place against a block. The retaining unit comprises a slip-on retention member which automatically releases and resets. In order to produce a low-profile retaining unit requiring only a relatively flat guide rail, the retaining unit is designed with spring-mounted arms (19) having inclined leading and trailing surfaces with a locking recess (23) between them locking with a counter-block on the guide rail when the door is opened.

Description

The invention relates to a locking device for door leaves according to the upper handle of claims 1 and 6.

In known locking devices of the type mentioned, a holding member in the form of a spring-loaded pivoting lever which can be limited in its travel is mounted on the abutment attached to the guide rail, which has a retaining cam for a pin of the slide member, which may pass over the holding member, which in turn is in the guide rail is arranged to be longitudinally displaceable and is pivotally connected to the free end of the swivel arm of a door closer. In such known locking devices, the pivot lever forming the holding member is arranged substantially above the slide in the guide rail, a relatively large overall height of the guide rail being necessary for this reason and because of the cushioning of the pivot lever and the limitation of the pivot lever stroke. In addition to this uneconomical design of the guide rail, the locking device itself also requires a relatively large amount of components and is therefore expensive to manufacture.

Die GB-A-2 018 887 beschreibt eine Feststellvorrichtung für eine Fahrzeugtür, Wo ein Hebelarm in einen federbelasteten Mechanismus einrastet.GB-A-2 018 887 describes a locking device for a vehicle door where a lever arm snaps into a spring-loaded mechanism.

No. 3,986,742 shows a further locking device which is suitable for locking a door in its open position. For this purpose, a swivel arm is rotatably mounted on the door leaf, the other end of which runs in a sliding guide and is held by these when driving over two resilient legs. It is not possible to drive past this stop.

The object of the present invention is to improve a locking device of the type mentioned in such a way that a compact design with simple and few components is possible and the locking device is virtually not subject to wear.

This object is achieved according to the invention by the characteristics of independent claims 1 and 6.

The holding member has on the one hand sprung legs with a run-on slope and a run-off slope, which are interrupted by a catch (Figure 2 to Figure 4). This makes it possible to reduce the number of components and to place essential components of the locking device within the slider, which has an essentially U-shaped cross section. Furthermore, FIGS. 5 to 16 show variant solutions to the problem in which the holding member is formed by resilient components of the slider. These variants also significantly reduce the size and number of components compared to the prior art.

In an advantageous embodiment of the invention, the abutment is designed as a flat piece fixed to the guide rail, which supports two legs formed as isosceles triangles, which, with their leg tip forming the catch, are directed transversely to the longitudinal axis of the guide rail and between them accommodate an elastic buffer member that cushions the legs. by which the detents of the legs are held in locking recesses in the recesses on the inner surfaces of the side walls of the slider. This allows a compact abutment to be formed, on which the two opposite legs are guided transversely to the longitudinal direction of the guide rail and protrude into the movement path of the slide. The one that can be avoided against the buffer link The arrangement of the legs also allows the abutment to be run over by the slide, but this is exactly positioned in the event of a lock.

The buffer member is preferably designed as a cylindrical disk, which is supported in recesses in each leg that are complementary to a cylinder bore. For To achieve a hard elastic buffer member, this can have a central hole in which an inelastic pin filling the hole is arranged. In order for the action of the buffer member to act on the legs at the point where they come into contact with the slider even when it is arrested, the buffer member is preferably arranged exclusively in the effective range of the side walls of the slider acting on the legs in the event of arrest.

A further embodiment of the subject matter of the invention can be formed by the holding member being formed by self-resilient leg-forming side walls of the slider, which in some cases engage with their detents a diamond-like projection of the flat-piece abutment with the catches.

In a further embodiment of the invention, the legs of the holding member can, however, also be formed from leaf springs fixed on both sides of the slide, which with their catches encompass areas of a hard-elastic circular disk held on the abutment.

A further embodiment of the subject matter of the invention can be formed by the slide piece having an inherently resilient leg on only one side, in the catch of which an angled leg protruding from the flat piece-like abutment grips in the catch.

The last-mentioned embodiment of the invention can be modified in that the slider has an inherently resilient leg on only one side, in the catch of which a hard-elastic roller held on the flat-piece abutment in the locking case grips.

In Fig. 1, a swivel arm (11) is shown, which is connected on one side to the swivel axis of a door closer (10) indicated in dash-dotted lines and fixed, for example, on a door leaf (not shown). The other end of this swivel arm (11) is mounted on a pin (12) which is fixedly connected to a slide (13) which in turn is arranged in a guide rail (14) fixed above the door leaf and can be moved longitudinally. In the guide rail (14) at a position corresponding to the open position of the door leaf, an abutment (15), for example by positive locking, is fixed in the guide rail (14) which, together with the slide (13), serves as a holding unit for fixing the door leaf in its open position.

The guide rail (14) has a C-shaped cross section, which is open at the bottom and has in its upper region two mutually opposite strip-like projections (16) which, together with the upper wall of the guide rail (14), have a groove for receiving an in serve this braceable flat piece (17).

In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 2 to 4, the flat piece has on its rear side a guide recess (18) in which the foot parts of two legs (19) which are arranged at a distance from one another and are designed as isosceles triangles are arranged. Due to their shape, these legs (19) have a run-on slope (21) and a run-off slope (22), each of which forms a catch (23) in the middle area on their abutting area. These legs (19) each have on their mutually facing sides a circular segment-shaped recess (27) which are filled by a leg (19) cushioning buffer member (24). These two legs (19), which can be moved transversely to the longitudinal direction of the guide rail (14) by the elastic buffer member (24), form a holding member (25) for the cross-sectionally U-shaped sliding piece (13). The protruding legs, which rest against the side walls of the guide rail (14), have a locking recess (26) on the inside that matches the catch (23) of the legs (19). In the direction of displacement, the legs of the slider (13) are each designed to rise from their outer sides to the central locking recess (26), in such a way that at the beginning of the impact of the slider (13) on the legs (19) there is little play. While pushing the slide (13) onto the legs (19), they are pressed against each other against the action of the buffer member (24) until they can finally snap into the locking recess (26) in the legs of the slide (13). The buffer member (24) has a central hole (28) into which an inelastic pin which fills it, is inserted in a force-fitting and form-fitting manner to increase the restoring force of the buffer member (24).

In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 5 to 7, an abutment (15) is also fixed in the guide rail (14), which forms a holding unit together with the slider (13). This slider (13) is also connected to the swivel arm (11) of a door closer (10) via a pin (12) attached to it. In this embodiment, however, the holding members (25) are the side walls (30) which are arranged on both longitudinal sides of the slide (13) and which have run-on bevels (21) and run-off bevels (22) designed as self-resilient legs (19). A catch (23) is integrally formed between each run-on slope (21) and the run-off slope (22). 5 to 7, these detents (23) on the legs (19) of the slide (13) interact with a diamond-like projection (31) of the flat piece (17) acting as an abutment (15).

The embodiment shown in FIGS. 8 to 10 corresponds in principle to the previously described embodiment shown in FIGS. 5 to 7. In contrast to this, however, the holding member (25) does not consist of legs integrally formed on the sliding piece (13), but the legs (19) forming the holding member (25) are independent leaf springs (31) on the side walls of the Slider (13) held. Each leaf spring (31) in turn has a recess (23) which is designed as a recess and which, in the event of a lock, includes a hard elastic circular disc (32) which forms a counter bearing (15) and holds it securely in this position.

In contrast to the embodiment shown in FIGS. 5 to 7, the exemplary embodiment disclosed in FIGS. 11 to 13 has on one side of the sliding piece (13) a side wall which is formed in one piece with a leg (19). This self-resilient leg (19) in turn has a run-on slope (21) and a run-off slope (22), between which in turn the catch (23) is formed by an integrally formed groove into which, in the event of a lock, an angled leg (15) projecting from the flat piece-like abutment (15) 33) engages. The angle leg (33) is shaped in such a way that its legs slide along either the run-up slope (21) or the run-off slope (22), depending on the direction of the slide, and that the angle tip lying between its legs engages in the catch (23) when it is locked. This can be seen in particular from FIG. 13.

The embodiment shown in FIGS. 14 to 16 essentially corresponds to the above-described embodiment shown in FIGS. 11 to 13. Here, too, only a single self-resilient leg (19) is provided on one of the two side walls of the slider (13), which essentially corresponds in design and configuration to the leg (19) shown in FIG. 13. This leg also has both a run-on slope (21) and a run-off slope (22), between which in turn the catch (23) is arranged in the form of a depression. In this case, a holding abutment (15), which forms an abutment (15), hard elastic roller (34) when the slide (13) is transferred into the holding position shown in FIGS. 14 to 16. This roller (34) is fixedly connected to an adjustable pin which is fixed to the flat piece (17) fixed in the rail (14) and is offset relative to the longitudinal center of the sliding piece.
