Abstract

The eaves cladding has supports (1) and cladding sections (11) in which the flanks (3, 4) of the one-piece angled supports (1) have surfaces (5, 6) which extend over and press on the end edges (9, 10) of the cladding sections (11) on the outside and are secured to the eaves. The eaves cladding is extremely easy to fit since, after the supports (1) have been fitted and adjusted, the cladding sections (11) can be easily inserted behind the side surfaces of the support flanks, making securing measures for the sections (11) at the eaves superfluous.

Description

The invention relates to a roof edge trim according to the preamble of claim 1.

Such a cladding is known from FR-A-1535284. With her, the holders are arranged below the cladding profiles, which is why additional elements for covering the butt joint and for instancing are required, so that the holders are constructed in several parts.

The present invention is therefore based on the object of designing a roof edge covering of the type in question in such a way that it is of particularly simple design, very easy to assemble and, if appropriate, can also be dismantled again.

The solution to this problem is that the holders are formed in one piece, have a hat-shaped cross-section, with their recess receiving the fastening means engage from the outside in the butt joints between the cladding profiles and cover the outside of the ends of the cladding profiles with their protruding flanges. The cladding profiles are provided on the inside of their web with spacer profiles that rest against the outside wall of the building.

Additional mounting devices, such as brackets and the like, are eliminated. The ends of the cladding profiles are overlapped from the outside by the protruding flanges of the brackets and are thereby held in place. The installation of the roof edge cladding is very simple and ensures that the installation is exactly aligned even by auxiliary personnel without the help of specialists, since the previously complicated installation of mounting brackets, brackets, butt joints and the like is no longer necessary. If necessary, the cladding profiles can be easily removed and reassembled during a subsequent roof renovation.

The one-piece, angular and hat-shaped cross-section of the holder 1 has in its two legs 3 and 4 a depression 2 and is fastened to the roof edge by fastening means provided there. With also arranged in the area of this recess 2 pressure screws 15, the holder 1 is adjusted relative to the wall. Then it will be a cladding profile 11, for example when working from left to right, with its end 9 inserted behind the inside 8 of the flange 6 of the holder 1. Then, at the other end 10 of the cladding profile 11, the next holder 1 with the inside 7 of its flange 5 is pushed against the outside of the cladding profile 11, fastened to the roof edge and adjusted in the recess 2 by means of the pressure screws 15. The cladding profile 11 has 12 spacer profiles 13, 14 on its inside for spacing from the roof edge. The recess 2 is provided with a cover 17 after assembly.

Specially developed corner cladding profiles are first preassembled, and at the ends of the first-mentioned holder 1 and the cladding profiles 11 are then laterally precisely mounted. Always running to the center of the roof edge, cladding profiles 11 and holder 1 are then successively installed at the same time, as described.

With the help of the built-in pressure screws 15 in the holder 1, an exactly aligned roof edge cladding is achieved.

Claims (3)

1. A roof edge covering, particularly for flat roofs, consisting of adjacently disposed covering sections (11) which have a vertical web spaced apart from and in front of the outside wall of the building and with, extending at an acute angle thereto, a flange (5, 6) by which they engage over the roof edge, and also consisting of holders (1) fixed to the building and adapted to the cross-sectional forms of the covering sections (11), characterised in that the one-piece holders (1) have a hat-shaped cross-section and in that their depression (2) which accommodates the fixing means engages from the outside into the joints between the covering sections (11) while their projecting flanges (5, 6) mask the outsides of the ends (9, 10) of the covering sections (11) and in that the covering sections (11) are on the inside (12) of their webs provided with spacing sections (13, 14) which rest on the outside wall of the building.
2. A roof edge covering according to Claim 1, characterised in that the holders (1) have thrust screws (15) in their depression (2) for adjustment purposes.
3. A roof edge covering according to Claim 1 or 2, characterised in that the holders (1) each comprise an external masking (7) over their depression (2).
