Definitions

  • the invention relates to a drain set for sanitary appliances such as sinks, washstands, bath tubs, with a drain hole held in a drain hole, in which a plunger consisting of a guide element and a plunger head as a closure member for the drain hole can be moved longitudinally via a plunger rod, the upper edge area of the drain cup forms a sealing collar for the plunger head in its closed position and this upper edge region of the drain cup with a seat is inserted deep into the wall of the drain cup of the sanitary apparatus.
  • a generic waste set is known from DE-PS 39 09 651; thereafter the plunger head is arranged in such a way that its surface in the opening position of the plunger forms a plane with the upper edge of the drain hole, its diameter being at least as large as the largest diameter of the upper edge area of the drain cup, around the inside of the drain hole to cover the upper edge area of the drain optically.
  • the known waste set has the disadvantage that the plunger head in its coloring and shaping must be completely matched to the associated sanitary apparatus, so that drain fittings to be assigned to different sanitary apparatuses must each have a differently manufactured plunger head;
  • the plunger head according to the generic state of the art is more complex to produce than plunger heads of other conventional waste sets, which are not adapted to the shape and color of the sanitary apparatus.
  • the invention is therefore based on the object of providing a drain fitting for a sanitary apparatus which can be produced more cheaply while maintaining the overall optical impression conveyed by the generic drain fitting.
  • the basic idea of the invention is that a fixed disk with a smaller diameter than the diameter of the drain hole can be inserted into the drain hole, that the drain cup belongs to a standardized drain set and is inserted into the wall of the drain hole with such a distance to the disk, that the plunger head can be moved between its closed position and its open position below the fixed disc.
  • the diameter of the disc is matched to the diameter of the drain hole in such a way that
  • the invention is essentially associated with the advantage that the plunger head, which is hidden by the disk fixed in the drain hole, can be made of any material and in a simple design, since it is not visible at any time.
  • the fixed disc is easy to manufacture in terms of material, shape and color, specifically to adapt to the sanitary apparatus, with either the standardized waste set to adapt it to the respective sanitary apparatus simply a disc to be inserted into the drain hole of the sanitary apparatus after Invention is to be attached.
  • the diameter of the disk is at least as large as the largest diameter of the upper edge area of the drain elch of the drain fitting, because then not only the plunger head but also the upper edge area of the drain elch serving as a seat is completely covered is.
  • an exemplary embodiment of the invention provides for the disc to be inserted into the drain hole with feet arranged on its outer circumference, the feet being supported on the narrowing wall of the drain hole in the sanitary apparatus. It is particularly advantageous here if the inwardly shifted feet are supported on the upper edge of the drain cup, at which point there is the possibility of Use transition between drain fitting and sanitary apparatus for attaching appropriate form-fitting designs.
  • Such a design has the advantage that the feet are arranged under the pane and are therefore not visible.
  • Another possibility of securing the disc against displacement consists in arranging a guide rod on its underside, which in turn engages in a channel arranged in the plunger; here a game is provided that on the one hand the plunger head is displaceable with respect to the disk during its opening and closing movement, but that on the other hand there is a security against slipping of the disk in the drain hole.
  • This measure can either be used alone to secure the disc, or else in combination with an additional support via feet and / or protrusions to be provided accordingly.
  • the pane For the rest, it is expedient to design the pane from the same material as the sanitary apparatus and to choose the same coloring.
  • the surface of the pane should align itself with the lines adapt the apparatus in the area of the drain hole, various shapes, such as a concave surface of the disk, or a configuration with parallel planes, being useful for this purpose.

  • An annular seal 19 provided on the underside of the plunger head 15 ensures in the closed position of the plunger head 15 that the plunger head is seated on the sealing collar 14 of the drain cup 12 in a sealing manner.
  • a fixed disc 25 is arranged, which is inserted into the drain hole 11 by means of three feet 26 arranged on its outer circumference so that the feet 26 stand on the upper edge 14 of the drain cup 12.
  • the diameter of the disc 25 is chosen relative to the diameter of the drain hole 11 so that there is a constantly open annular gap 20 through which the water can flow out of the sanitary apparatus.
  • the drain cup 12 is so far into the wall of the apparatus 10 that the plunger head 15 can be moved between its open and closed positions without the disk 25 arranged in the plane of the drain hole 11 to change their position.
  • the disc 25 not only covers the plunger head 15, but also the upper edge region 14 of the drain cup 12. Since the feet 26 stand on the upper edge 14 of the drain cup 12, they are also covered by the disc 25.
  • the feet or respectively the upper edge of the drain cup have corresponding positive connections in order to fix the disk 25 in the drain hole; in this case 12 openings could be formed in the upper edge 14 of the drain cup, into which the disk 25 with feet 26 can be inserted by means of a snap fit.
  • FIG. 4 shows a further exemplary embodiment of the invention with regard to the fixing of the disk 25, in that a rod 28 is provided on the underside thereof, which engages in an assigned channel 29 in the plunger 16; the channel 29 and the rod 28 are dimensioned so that there is a smooth guidance of the plunger head 15 relative to the fixed disc 25; on the other hand, the disk 25 is secured against displacement relative to the plunger head.
  • This measure can be used both alone and in combination with other supports.
