Abstract

Storage containers which can be subdivided by means of removable partitions, in particular storage boxes with partitions which can be pushed into grooves, are known. In order to prevent the partitions from moving, causing mixing of the stored items thus separated from one another, the partitions (2) are provided, according to the invention, with resilient locking devices (3) which engage behind an edge (8) on the side wall of the box (1) in their end position. The locking device can be designed as a spring tongue (3), which is attached laterally to the upper rim of the partition. The spring tongue can engage under an edge from the inside. Advantageously, the arrangement is such that release of the locking from outside, e.g. through a perforation in the wall, is facilitated. It is however also possible to bring the locking device into engagement with the edge of a peripheral rim or of a label support. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a divisible storage container for small parts or the like., Preferably storage box, with partitions that can be inserted into grooves.

Such storage boxes are used in large quantities for storing components down to the smallest dimensions in industry (factory warehouse) and trade (spare parts warehouse).

Known zag boxes are made of plastic, for example polypropylene, and have vertical grooves in the inner walls, into which intermediate walls can be inserted from above for longitudinal and / or transverse division. These partitions can be provided with labels and are intended to prevent the parts of different dimensions stored between them from becoming confused and having to be sorted again. Mixing up, for example, small screws with slightly different dimensions or from different materials in production can lead to costly manufacturing errors. Therefore, a good fit of the partition walls with simultaneous easy interchangeability in storage boxes for storing small parts is important. It should also be borne in mind that the storage boxes used in large numbers are not only used for storage on storage racks and for the transport of parts, but should also keep parts ready in the workshop, at the workplace or on an automatic production line, with access also by a robot can be executed. Therefore, a variable interior division by walls with a fixed fit is important. Here the partition walls should only be replaceable with a defined amount of force.

From DE-A-27 39 891 it is known to provide flexible divider walls in pharmacies, which can be clamped on one side to a support, optionally on the outside of the box wall, so that after releasing the clamp connection, a continuous displacement of the divider in the longitudinal direction of the box is possible. Because of these fasteners, the dividing walls protrude beyond the outer walls of the drawers, so that stacking on top of one another is not possible. Furthermore, the dividers are flexible and not tightly sealed. In these drawers there is also sufficient space to the side and above the box, so that particularly space-saving fastening means for the dividers are not necessary. These boxes are not suitable for the purposes described above.

In the storage box according to the invention, on the other hand, in addition to the requirement of stackability, tightly closing partition walls, which are guided at least laterally in grooves, are necessary. Since these boxes are stored close to and on top of each other, there is no additional space available for fastening the partition walls. The invention is based on the task of creating a secure, releasable fastening of the partition walls even when the box is twisted, which does not require any additional space.

Partitions are known which can be clamped in the groove of the box with the aid of a laterally attached thickening. However, this attachment is not reliable due to wear. Accordingly, there is the risk that the filled walls move upwards and the contents of the box get under the walls and mix with one another, even with relatively low mechanical stress or asymmetrical support of the filled box on the base.

The disadvantages described are eliminated with the invention.

The invention consists in a storage box with insertable partitions, which are provided at their upper edge with resilient locking devices which engage behind an edge on the side wall of the box in their end position, that the partition walls are inserted into grooves in the storage container that the locking devices are designed as spring tongues, which are laterally attached to the upper edge of the intermediate wall and extend downward and are made wider than the thickness of the intermediate wall, by a groove in which the intermediate wall is inserted in the upper part of the wall of the box or in one there attached reinforcing rib has an enlarged part such that the spring tongue is received. The said guide groove is designed over its length from the floor to a shoulder on the inside of the wall of the box as a slot corresponding essentially to the thickness of the intermediate wall.

In a preferred embodiment, a reinforcement is provided at the end of the spring tongue, which engages in the end position of the intermediate wall behind a projection, in the vicinity of which the wall of the box has an opening, such that the unlocking can be carried out from outside by pressure on the spring tongue .

To improve the safety of the seat of the intermediate wall, the arrangement can be made such that the upper edge of the intermediate wall ends with a peripheral edge of the box when the latching device is engaged. This means that the intermediate walls are of such a height that the upper edge thereof does not protrude beyond the circumferential stacking edge of the box when the intermediate wall is fully inserted. At the same time, the partition can sit on the bottom of a groove made in the bottom of the box. The arrangement described has the advantage that it is easy to see whether the partition has taken its proper, locked, tight seat.

The invention and further details are explained below with reference to the drawings, for example.

To insert an intermediate wall 2, the storage box 1 has a groove designated 5, in the plane of which this box is shown in section in FIGS. 1 to 3. The intermediate wall 2 is provided with a spring tongue 3 which is bent back when the intermediate wall is inserted into the groove 5, as can be seen from FIG. If, as shown in FIG. 3, the intermediate wall 2 is fully inserted, the spring tongue 3 snaps into the opening 9 with its nose 4 behind the edge 8. The opening 9 allows, for example, the spring tongue 3 from the outside in the case of very tight partition walls 2 unlock. If necessary, the bottom of the box 1 can also be provided with a groove into which the lower part of the intermediate wall 2 is immersed in the end position. The upper part 6 of the groove 5 is expediently widened in the shape of a dovetail in order to accommodate the correspondingly designed fastening 7 of the tongue 3. This embodiment is shown in perspective in FIGS. 4 to 6. The outer wall of the box is expediently reinforced in the region of the groove 5 or 6 by a rib 12, which is also shown in section in FIGS. 1 to 3.

Fig. 7 shows such ribs - there designated 22 - in a box 21 which contains an intermediate wall 23. With 29 an opening is designated, which corresponds to the opening 9 shown in FIGS.

In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, the reinforcement 7 is continued at the upper edge of the intermediate wall 2 as an edge strip 10. The edge strip 10 enables improved handling when inserting and removing the intermediate wall 2.

Die Zwischenwand 33 kann ferner in nichtdargestellten Nuten in den Seitenwänden oder im Boden zusätzlich im Bedarfsfalle geführt werden.8 shows a so-called face storage box 31, the front side of which allows a view of the stored goods when several boxes are stacked one on top of the other. For the longitudinal subdivision, an intermediate wall 33 is provided, which can be hooked into openings 35, 36 in the border 37 of the box 31 with its latching devices attached to the ends. The intermediate wall 33 can also be guided in grooves, not shown, in the side walls or in the floor, if necessary.

The intermediate wall 33 is equipped with the locking devices shown enlarged in FIGS. 9 and 10, which consist of spring tongues 30 and 39, respectively. The edge strip 34 of the intermediate wall 33 is flush with the peripheral edge strip 37 when the spring tongues 30 and 39 are inserted into the cutouts 35 and 36 and there at the lower edge 41 of the peripheral edge 40 or a reinforcement 42 or the like. are snapped onto the back of the label carrier 43. Guide pieces 38, 44 ensure a firm fit of the intermediate wall 33 in the area of the cutouts 35 and 36, so that guide grooves in the walls of the box 31 can be omitted.

The latching devices shown in FIGS. 9 and 10 are also suitable for other boxes or containers. The arrangement as in FIG. 9 is expediently such that the edge strip 34 of the intermediate wall 33 ends flush with a peripheral edge strip 37, but on the other hand, as can also be seen from FIG. 8, does not impair the stacking of boxes, which is otherwise also applies to box 21 shown in FIG.

The arrangement according to FIG. 9 is suitable, for example, for transport containers 45 as shown in FIG. 11. There is an intermediate wall 47, which is provided with an edge strip 48. The intermediate wall 47 is inserted into the cutouts 49 with their locking devices 50. The locking device 50 corresponds, for example, to the locking device 30 in FIG. 9. The edge strip 48 of the intermediate wall 47 is slightly lowered in the cutouts 49 with respect to the peripheral edge 52 of the container 45 in order to facilitate stacking of several containers 45 on top of one another. The circumferential edge 52 is part of the circumferential double edge reinforcement 46. The cutouts 49 are expediently clad to the outside by an end wall 51. The end of the spring tongue forming the latching device 50 can only protrude downward, in order, if necessary, to facilitate unlocking from the outside. The arrangement can, depending on the design of the latching device, be made such that the intermediate wall 47 can be pulled out by means of a certain amount of force without having to act on the latching device from the outside for unlocking at the same time.
