Claims (5)

  1. A plastics button comprising a rotationally symmetrical bottom portion (3) which can be riveted to a web of material and a tiltable button plate (1) which can be assembled to said bottom portion, characterised in that formed on the button plate (1) is a hollow shank (2) which terminates at its lower end with an inwardly projecting annular flange (8), and that the bottom portion (3) which is separate therefrom is provided with a base plate (4) and has an upwardly facing shank (15) with a collar (10) which tapers inwardly at the upper end and which can be driven into the hollow shank (2), with elastic expansion of the annular flange (8), and in the assembled condition engages non-releasably with its shoulders (11) behind the annular flange (8).
  2. A plastics button according to claim 1 characterised in that the upper collar edge (12) is integrally connected to the annular flange (8) by tearable connecting limbs (13).
  3. A plastics button according to claim 1 or claim 2 characterised in that in the region of the conical collar (10) the bottom portion (3) has an opening (14) which is wider than the rivet hole (7).
  4. A plastics button according to one of claims 1 to 3 characterised in that the shank (15) of the bottom portion (3) also tapers inwardly beneath the shoulders (11).
  5. A plastics button according to one of claims 1 to 4 characterised in that the diameter of the base plate (4) approximately corresponds to the outside diameter of the hollow shank (2).
