Die als flaches Türhalteband ausgebildete Türhaltestange 6 ist an ihrem freien Ende mit einer einen Öffnungsendanschlag für die Tür 1 bildenden doppelseitigen Auskragung 8 versehen. Die Halteeinrichtung 7 umfaßt im gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel ein starr angeordnetes Widerlager 9 und einen senkrecht zur Bewegungsebene der Türhaltestange 6 beweglichen Brems-bzw. Haltekörper 10, der seinerseits vermittels eines als Elektromagnet ausgebildeten elektrischen Linearmotors 11 an die Türhaltestange 6 anpressbar ist. Zur Ansteuerung des Elektromagneten 11 ist dem inneren Türgriff 12 und dem äußeren Türgriff 13 jeweils ein Stellungfühler 14 zugeordnet, der an eine elektrisache Steuerleitung 15 angeschlossen ist, welche vermittels eines als Transistor ausgebildeten Relais 16 die Stromversorgung für den Elektromagneten 11 in Abhängigkeit von der Türbetätigung durch den Fahrzeugbenutzer steuert.
