Description

The invention relates to a wooden or glued truss rafters for glass roofs according to the preamble of claim 1.

In conventional glass roofs, the glass panes are gripped with the aid of metal strips and rubber seals, the metal strips being screwed onto the rafters. These metal strips represent thermal bridges, i. H. Cold bridges, through which condensation forms in the cavities between the two metal strips and around the glass pane in this area. Separate drainage must be provided for this condensed water; there is also a risk of corrosion from this condensation. Due to the thermal bridges there is also the risk of heat build-up and the development of disadvantageous thermal stresses.

From GB-A-480124 glazing bars with a lower bar and a head bar are known. The lower bar is provided with an upper middle web, which is arranged in a central groove of the head bar and can be screwed to the head bar. Grooves are formed on both sides of the web between the top bar and the bottom bar to accommodate the edges of glass panes while leaving free space as ventilation spaces between the glass pane edge and the web and with the interposition of elastic seals between the header and the glass panes. Trough-like depressions are formed on both sides of the central web, which are connected to the free spaces.

The object of the present invention is to improve the seal in a wooden or glue-rafter of the type mentioned in order to counter the risk of water penetration and to prevent the formation of condensed water.

This object is achieved by the invention specified in claim 1.

An advantageous and expedient development of the invention is specified in the subclaim.

The invention uses means for fastening glass panes to wooden or glue-rafters, in which metals or similar thermally highly conductive materials are dispensed with. There are no longer any thermal bridges because the panes are only attached using materials such as rubber and wood. This means that the risk of condensation, corrosion and heat build-up is reduced. In addition, adverse thermal stresses can no longer occur. The sealing strips between the glass pane and the lower part of the rafters as well as between the glass pane and the rafters head and the cap-shaped cover with side gutters improve the seal.

The invention will be explained below with reference to the accompanying drawing, in which an embodiment is shown.

Die Nuten befinden sich vorzugsweise im oberen Drittel des Gesamtsparrens 2.The drawing shows a rafters 2 with a lower rafters part 4, the longitudinal extension of which has step-shaped recesses 6, 7 on both sides, between which a central web 8 is left. On the web 8, a rafter head 10 protruding on both sides of the web 8 is fastened, for example with the aid of screw connections 12. In this way, longitudinal grooves are formed between the rafter head 10 and the steps 14, 15 of the recesses 6, 7, into the glass panes 16, 18 are used. The grooves are preferably located in the upper third of the overall rafter 2.

Ober- und unterseitig der Glasscheiben befinden sich zwischen den Glasscheiben und dem Sparrenkopf und den Stufen Gummilippendichtungen 20, 21, 22, 23.Upper and lower sides of the glass panes are located between the glass panes and the rafter head and the steps rubber lip seals 20, 21, 22, 23.

30 aufweisen.Ventilations 24, 26 are provided between the glass panes and the web 8. These rear vents are further improved in that at least one of the seals on both sides, preferably the lower seals 21, 23, end at a distance from the web 8. In addition, the steps 14, 15 can have a groove-like depression 28 or 30 at the transition to the web 8.

The rafter head 10 has a cap-shaped cover 32, for example made of copper, zinc sheet, aluminum or plastic. The cover can be provided with lateral gutters 34, 36.

If the rafters 2 are provided for receiving only one glass pane, the rafters lower part 4 has only one lateral recess.

The rafters 2 with rafters lower part 4 and rafters head 10 are made of solid wood or glued wood.
