Die Erfindung betrifft einen Einpreßkontakt zum Einpressen in ein durchkontaktiertes Loch einer Leiterplatte mit

  • einer Kontaktfeder oder einem Kontaktstift,
  • einem sich daran anschließenden mittleren Schaftteil und
  • einem eine Verlängerung des mittleren Schaftteils bildenden Anschlußstift,

bei dem die Kontaktfeder oder der Kontaktstift im Übergangsbereich zum Schaftteil eine Einpreßschulter aufweist, die den Einpreßweg des Einpreßkontaktes begrenzt, und

    the slit opening (8) is designed in such a way that in the state not plugged in it has at its ends (9, 10) a parabolic form, whilst through widening of the arms (18, 19) it has a constriction (11) in the middle, with the slit opening (2) tapering in on a curve from the parabolic end regions as far as the region of the constriction (11).
  2. A plug contact as in Claim 1,
    characterized in that
    the shank part (2) from the middle of its length out to the connecting pin (5) tapers in approximately linearly down to half its maximum width, and the remaining length of the shank part between the connecting pin and the end of the slit opening next it corresponds with a fraction of the half-length of the shank part.
  3. A plug contact as in Claims 1 and 2,
    characterized in that
    the ratio of the remaining length (13) of the shank part (2) to the half-length (14) of the shank part (2) lies in the range between 0.45:1 and 0.35:1, preferably at about 0.4:1.
  4. A plug contact as in Claim 1,
    characterized in that
    in the region of the constriction the slit opening runs straight and parallel.
