Description

The present invention relates to the field of construction, in particular roofing by means of tiles, or the like, and relates to a device for holding tiles, or the like.

The tiles, or the like, generally used for roofing buildings are laid on a lattice fixed on rafters with, if necessary, shape cooperation between neighboring tiles. This embodiment generally makes it possible to obtain a cover which is perfectly waterproof against rain and / or snow.

However, in the case of very severe climatic conditions, in particular very violent winds, for example blowing in storm, the tiles or similar covering means, such as slates, etc. are exposed to risks of tearing under the effect of wind and destruction by fall. In addition, such tearing of the tiles, or the like, generally results in other damage due to the storm, namely flooding and / or destruction of the rooms located under the roof, as well as possible injuries to passers-by and the deterioration of 'other equipment.

Also known from FR-A-468 552 is a tile hook hooked by its upper end on the tiles and provided at its other end with regular fixing holes on a fascia board or, after folding, on the lath or on paneling, this hook being fixed by means of screws, spikes or staples passing through the holes. Such a hook allows fixing and holding of tiles, but does not allow any intervention of partial disassembly of a roof, for example of a very small area, for the replacement of one or more tiles and requires heavy interventions resulting in almost complete disassembly.

Furthermore, DE-C-222 771 discloses a holding device using a hook having three distinct parts, two parts of which cooperate with two adjacent tiles, and the third of which, connected to the first two, is integral with a elongated lower part cooperating with two successive slats. Such a device does not allow any adaptation of the blocking of the tiles on the battens and is not removable individually, so that light interventions, namely on small roof surfaces are almost impossible.

In addition, all of these known devices do not allow the hooks to be released from the outside of the roof, which is particularly necessary in the case where the under-roof is provided with an insulating or other coating.

The present invention aims to overcome these drawbacks.

It has, in fact, for its object a device for holding tiles, or the like, essentially constituted by hooks cooperating, at regular intervals, with tiles, or the like, and based on the tiles perpendicular to their connecting part with them and by means of securing the hooks to the frame, in particular to the lattice, being housed in a lower part of the hooks and resting, moreover, on the lattice, characterized in that the lower part of the hooks is curved and in that the means for securing the hooks to the frame are in the form of flexible rods, of round, square or other section, individual disassembly and reassembly of the hooks being possible for partial removal of a given roof surface.

Other embodiments according to the invention are indicated in claims 2 to 5.

  • la figure 1 est une vue partielle en perspective d'un dispositif conforme à l'invention en position de service ;
  • la figure 2 représente, en élévation latérale et en élévation frontale, un premier mode de réalisation d'un crochet ;
The invention will be better understood from the following description, which relates to preferred embodiments, given by way of nonlimiting examples, and explained with reference to the appended schematic drawings, in which:
  • Figure 1 is a partial perspective view of a device according to the invention in the service position;
  • 2 shows, in side elevation and in front elevation, a first embodiment of a hook;
  • FIG. 3 shows in views similar to those of FIG. 2 another embodiment of the hook, and
  • Figures 4 to 7 are views similar to those of Figures 2 and 3 of other alternative embodiments of the hook.

As shown more particularly in Figure 1 of the accompanying drawings, the tile holding device, or the like, is essentially constituted by hooks 1 which cooperate, at regular intervals, on the one hand, with tiles 2, or the like , and, on the other hand, with means 3 for securing said hooks 1 to the frame 4, in particular to the lath 5.

According to a first embodiment of the invention, shown in Figure 2 of the accompanying drawings, the hooks 1 advantageously have a general shape in elongated S, the upper curved part of which cooperates with the edge of the tiles 2 or with a longitudinal groove lateral of the latter, and of which the lower curved part, preferably in a semicircle, forms a housing for a securing means 3, their total height advantageously being at most equal to the thickness of the battens 5 increased by the thickness tiles 2.

In this embodiment, the means 3 for securing the hooks 1 to the frame 4 are preferably in the form of flexible rods, of round, square or other section, being housed in the lower curved part of the hooks 1 and s pressing, moreover, on the lath 5.

According to an alternative embodiment of the invention, shown in Figure 3 of the accompanying drawings, the hooks 1 have a general T-shape, the free end of the vertical bar is bent to form the housing of the securing means 3 hooks 1 to the frame 4. Such an embodiment of the hooks 1 allows their adaptation to the fixing of flat tiles.

According to another characteristic of the invention, the lower curved part of the hooks 1 advantageously extends in an oblique slope relative to the bearing part of said hooks on the tiles 2.

By positioning, when covering a roof, hooks 1, at regular intervals, on tiles of the same row seen in the direction of the slope of the roof, and by hooking said hooks to their lower curved part on a means 3 corresponding securing, it is possible to achieve, due to the height of the hooks 1, a slight tension on the latter, this tension resulting from the flexibility of the means 3. In addition, this flexibility of the means 3 allows also relatively easily to dismantle the latter and to carry out, for example, a partial removal of a given roof surface.

Figures 4 and 5 of the accompanying drawings show alternative embodiments of the hooks 1, in which the opposite end to the upper part, curved or T-shaped, is straight. Thus, this end can be adapted to the securing means 3 as a function of the thickness of the tiles 2 and the battens 5, for example, by folding directly on site.

Figures 6 and 7 show another alternative embodiment of the hooks according to Figures 4 and 5 of the accompanying drawings, in which the rectilinear part of the hooks 1, opposite the upper curved or T-shaped end, is advantageously provided, with regular intervals of drilling 6 for fixing on a edge board, or, after folding, on the lath 4 or on paneling, the means 3 for securing the hooks 1 then being in the form of screws, spikes or staples passing through the bores 6. Such an embodiment of the hooks 1 allows easy fixing of the tiles along the banks, as well as in the lower parts of the roofs, in particular at the level of the rafters protruding from the facades and provided with paneling.

Thanks to the invention, it is possible to carry out a safe and effective maintenance of tiles, or the like, on a frame and thus avoid tearing of the latter, in particular in the event of strong gusts of wind.
