Definitions

  • the invention relates to an electrical switching device according to the preamble of claim 1, as disclosed in document DE-B-1 226 677.
  • Electrical switchgear for installation in low-voltage distributors and in metering stations are usually designed in a narrow construction today and attached to one another on mounting rails.
  • manually operated switching devices are also used, the external shape of which is adapted to the modular design of the automatic switch, but which are multi-pole with the full module width.
  • the individual switch poles are insulated from one another by insulating plates which are loosely inserted between the housing halves. These insulating plates, which are provided as a separate part, often consist of laminate. However, they can also be used as a molded plate.
  • the object of the invention is to provide a switching device of the type mentioned at the outset which permits production to be as inexpensive as possible and in which the disadvantages described are avoided.
  • the central base has a base part which is arranged on the rear of the housing and with an intermediate wall which divides the central base into a first and a second region and which is arranged parallel to the two covers between the two narrow sides is connected in one piece.
  • This intermediate wall has labyrinth-like projections formed in mirror image on its two flat sides, which serve to receive and guide the contact pieces, connecting conductors and the connecting terminals. It proves to be advantageous to carry out the approaches, which at least in sections on both sides connect the connecting terminals and the connecting conductors and contact pieces, at the same depth, so that there is a flat mounting surface on the intermediate base, which enables the assembly to be automated.
  • each area has a slide for actuating the movable contact pieces associated with this area, which slide is in engagement with the control handle.
  • a slide has a sliding axis that runs vertically to the bottom part and is arranged on both sides of the intermediate wall in the middle thereof. Appropriately prepared approaches form a guide for the slide.
  • a common slide is provided for both areas of the central base, which serves for the simultaneous actuation of the movable contact pieces arranged on both sides of the intermediate wall and is also in engagement with the control handle.
  • the slide which also has a slide axis running vertically to the base part, is guided in a recess provided in the middle of the intermediate wall, which extends from the base part to the front.
  • the slide is of such a thickness that it is flush with the center base.
  • additional approaches can be provided on the intermediate wall, which improve the guidance of the slide, e.g. B. to prevent tilting.
  • the connecting conductors as flat conductors, the narrow sides of which engage in the pocket-like, labyrinth-like projections on the intermediate wall and are completely covered by these with respect to their width.
  • the connecting terminals are designed in a known manner as lifting terminals and are inserted into the spaces formed by the fits formed with a precise fit, a clamping effect being established which prevents the connecting terminals from inadvertently sliding out of the intermediate base.
  • the connecting conductors the width of which corresponds to that of the connecting terminal, engage with one end in the receiving opening of the connecting terminal.
  • a molding is provided on the two narrow sides, according to which the connecting conductors in this area have a width corresponding to the clear width of the receiving opening of the connecting terminal.
  • the respective connecting conductor again reaches its original width dimension, so that in this simple manner a secure, form-fitting anchoring in the connecting terminal is achieved without a special clamping effect using the clamping screw.
  • the contact points are further provided to design the contact points with two fixed contact pieces which are connected to one another by a movable contact piece designed as a bridge element.
  • This movable contact piece is resiliently attached to the aforementioned slide, so that irrespective of any tolerance-related skewing of both the contact pieces and the slide, the contact pieces each work together with sufficient support and contact force.
  • a preferred embodiment of the invention provides that the contact pieces used in the switching device according to the invention are formed from flat conductors which are provided at their end reaching into the contact point with a contact plate which has sufficient resistance to arcing. It is contemplated to connect the fixed contact pieces in one piece with the respective connecting conductor to the associated terminal.
  • the movable contact pieces are designed as traverses made of flat conductor material, their length being adapted to the distance between the contact plates of the two fixed contact pieces assigned to one another.
  • a contact plate is attached to the two ends of the crossbar, which is aligned with the opposite contact plate attached to the associated fixed contact piece.
  • the slide according to the invention has transverse slots into which the traverses of the movable contact pieces are each inserted and acted upon by compression springs arranged in recesses of the slide provided on both sides of the intermediate wall in such a way that the crossbars are clamped between the compression spring and the slot edges. Lateral slipping of the trusses is prevented in that projections are formed on both sides in the middle of the crossmember, which engage in a longitudinal groove provided for this purpose in the slider and at the same time are guided in a groove formed in the correct position in the respective cover.
  • the two lids are also provided with labyrinth-like approaches which engage in the center base and thus bring about an additional anchoring of the contact pieces, connecting conductors and the connecting terminals.
  • each cover has a fixed locking lug in a mirror-image arrangement to the opposite cover, which is also molded onto the flat area of the cover and reaches half the thickness of the housing, as well as a guide for a movable locking slide to be inserted between the covers, which engages behind the mounting rail and from both covers is held and managed.
  • the switching device it is advantageously provided that at least two mutually independent switching planes are provided on both sides of the intermediate base, which are arranged one above the other, ie between the base part and the front side.
  • the lugs formed on the intermediate wall are arranged accordingly, a continuous lug serving as a partition being formed on the intermediate wall between the aforementioned switching planes, which is only interrupted by the slide.
  • two switching chambers are formed on each side of the intermediate base, in which the fixed contacts optionally at the top, ie directed towards the front, as break contacts or below, ie directed towards the bottom part, are provided as make contacts. This makes it possible to perform four independent switching operations, e.g. B.
  • the intermediate wall of the center base in the individual switching chambers with openings which connect adjacent switching chambers which are only separated from one another by the intermediate wall and allow the connecting conductor to be passed through, so that the connecting terminal for a switching chamber is connected both to the fixed contact belonging to this switching chamber and to that in the neighboring switching chamber.
  • the invention provides that the connecting conductors can be guided in such a way that the fixed contacts are arranged either as make contacts or as break contacts. It is also possible to design the connecting conductors in such a way that the fixed contact in one switching chamber is connected as a normally open contact in the adjacent switching chamber as a normally closed contact or vice versa.
  • the slider provided for actuating the movable contact pieces is preferably formed as a U-shaped rod made of insulating material, transverse webs being provided at each of its ends and in the middle, on which the compression springs for the crossbeams of the movable contact pieces are supported.
  • the slots in which the crossbeams are guided in the slide advantageously have a slot width which allows the crossbeams sufficient play to compensate for different contact positions of the fixed contact pieces, the contact pressure springs producing an elastic connection between the crossbeams and the slide gates.
  • Another advantageous feature of the design of the slide according to the invention relates to a spring which acts on the slide in one direction and thereby on the one hand contributes to proper contacting and on the other hand ensures defined switching states which are transmitted to the slide via the manual actuating member acting on one end of the slide.
  • the spring acting on the slide is a helical compression spring which is arranged between the bottom part of the central base and the end face of the slide opposite this.
  • the manual control element which is designed as a pivotable control handle, engages via a connecting lever.
  • a translatory movement is impressed on the slide, which brings the movable contact pieces from one switching position to the other switching position.
