Claims (12)

  1. Closing device for drawers, there being provided on either side of the drawer a pull-out rail (13) fastened to the drawer and a support rail (15) fastened to the furniture carcass and load-transmitting rollers, balls or sliding elements being supported against or between the rails and the closing device comprising a tilting segment (3), which is mounted on the carcass and loaded by a spring (6), and a driver pin (5) fastened to the drawer, characterized in that, when the drawer is pulled out, the tilting segment (3) is guided in the pull-out direction of the drawer counter to the action of the spring (6) in a linearly displaceable manner along a guideway (4) and in the process is in engagement with the driver pin (5), the guideway (4) having a straight back portion (4') adjoined by a front curved portion (4'') and the curved portion (4'') of the guideway (4) guiding the tilting segment (3) into a tilted position, in which the tilting segment (3) releases the driver pin (5) and in which the tilting segment (3) is self-lockingly arrested in the guideway (4), and that, when the drawer is pushed in again, the tilting segment (3) is tilted back out of its arrested position by the driver pin (5) and is then pulled back along the guideway (4) by the spring (6) together with the driver pin (5).
  2. Closing device according to claim 1, characterized in that the tilting segment (3) is guided by two guide pins (8) in the guideway (4).
  3. Closing device according to claim 1, characterized in that the guideway (4) is disposed in the back half of the pull-out path of the drawer.
  4. Closing device according to claim 1, characterized in that the tilting segment (3) at least in regions takes the form of a channel section and that the spring (6) is disposed between the flanges (3') of the channel section.
  5. Closing device according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the driver pin (5) is fastened or formed on the pull-out rail (13) of the drawer.
  6. Closing device according to claim 1, characterized in that the guideway (4) is disposed in a rail part (7, 17) which is provided in addition to the support and pull-out rails (13, 15).
  7. Closing device according to claim 6, characterized in that the rail part (17) is fastened to the support rail (15).
  8. Closing device according to at least one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the spring which acts upon the tilting segment (3) is a pressure spring.
  9. Closing device according to claims 6 and 8, characterized in that mounted on the support rail (15) is a plastic block (21), in which a slide rod (23) coupled to the tilting element (3) is supported.
  10. Closing device according to claims 1 and 2, characterized in that the guideway (4) is formed by a groove with a T-shaped cross-section and that the guide pins (8) at least in the region of the groove are T-shaped.
  11. Closing device according to at least one of claims 1 to 10, characterized in that the pull-out rail (13) engages around the tilting segment (3) and has an inwardly projecting stop for the tilting segment (3).
  12. Closing device according to at least one of claims 1 to 11, characterized in that the tilting segment (3) may swivel about a vertical axis and the driver pin (5) is vertically aligned.
