Description

The invention relates to a package for a plurality of elongated objects to be arranged parallel to a block. Packaging of this type enables the transport of a plurality of objects packed therein and at the same time facilitates the display without the objects having to be removed individually from the packaging.

Fig. 1 shows an example of a conventional cardboard folding box. The packaging is used to hold a plurality of objects, preferably glasses, cans or the like. It has a rectangular, shell-shaped upper part and an equally bowl-shaped lower part, which are connected to one another by two opposite side connecting walls. It also has a front and a rear side part. Each of these side parts is provided with a rectangular opening, which extends between the two side connecting walls and which, as a viewing window, allows the objects to be viewed without them falling out. Furthermore, the folding box has a perforation in the side connecting walls which extends near the bowl-shaped lower part and extends parallel thereto, which facilitates the tearing open of the packaging.

The invention has for its object to improve the packaging described above in such a way that the objects in it are more visible.

The invention relates to a package, in particular for a plurality of elongated objects to be arranged parallel to a block, such as glasses, cans or the like also consisting of two opposite one another Connecting walls between the upper part and the lower part, in which the two connecting walls are provided on the sides extending between the upper part and the lower part with recesses which are (only) separated by a weakened wall web. The recesses according to the invention in the connecting walls enable an almost all-round view of the contents of the package when the packaging is in the closed state.

Because the recesses in each connecting wall taper towards the wall web, the viewer is optically guided to the point at which the opening is to take place. The weakened wall web has on both sides a tongue protruding into the recess in question. The tongues make it easier to tear open because they can be gripped behind with the thumb or a finger. The tearing is also facilitated by a perforation line in each of the two connecting walls which extends essentially parallel to the upper and lower part, in which the perforation line runs across the weakened wall web, preferably through its narrowest point.

  • Fig. 1 eine herkömmliche Verpackung in perspektivischer Ansicht;
  • Fig. 2 eine erfindungsgemässe Verpackung in perspektivischer Darstellung.
The invention is explained in more detail using an exemplary embodiment shown in the drawing. Show it
  • 1 shows a conventional packaging in a perspective view;
  • Fig. 2 shows an inventive packaging in perspective.

The conventional packaging 1 shown in FIG. 1 has a bowl-shaped rectangular lower part 4 and a similar upper part 3. The lower part 4 and the upper part 3 are connected to one another by opposite side walls 5, 5a. The front end wall 8 and the rear end wall 9 has a central recess 20 which extends over the entire width and through which the objects 2 located in the packaging are visible. The two side walls 5, 5a are also provided with perforation lines 11, 11a, which extend parallel to the lower part 4. By tearing open the perforation lines 11, 11a (of which only that is visible in the side wall 5), the upper part 3 with the part of the side walls 5, 5a located thereon can be lifted off the lower part 4, as a result of which the objects 2 are fully visible.

The packaging according to the invention according to FIG. 2 differs from the conventional packaging according to FIG. 1 in that two tapering recesses 6, 7, 6a, 7a are provided in each of the two side walls 5, 5a, only those of which are shown in FIG. 2 Recesses 6, 7 of the side wall 5 are visible. The two recesses 6a, 7a in the side wall 5a are designed in exactly the same way as the recesses 6, 7 in the side wall 5. A weakened wall web 10 extends between the two recesses 6, 7. The wall web 10 points into the recesses 6 on its two sides , 7 protruding tongues 14, 14a. The perforation line 11 extends here over one of the two narrowest points of the wall web 20.
