Für die weitere Ausgestaltung bestehen im Rahmen der Er­findung mehrere Möglichkeiten. So sind die beiden Antriebs­einheiten vorzugsweise in einem gemeinsamen Antriebsge­häuse untergebracht. Dabei ist dann eine besonders gute Zugänglichkeit beispielsweise für Reparatur- und Wartungs­zwecke gegeben, wenn das Antriebsgehäuse horizontal in zwei Gehäuseteile geteilt ist, die mittels Zuganker mit­einander verspannt sind. Das Antriebsgehäuse wird man ggf. zweckmäßigerweise vom Pressenständer oder -gehäuse bilden. In der Ausführungsform als Kurbel- und Exzenterpresse ist es ohne weiteres möglich, das z. B. vom Ständer gebildete Antriebsgehäuse in einem Hohlraum des Stößels vorzusehen. In konstruktiver Hinsicht ergeben sich darüber hinaus be­sonders überschaubare Verhältnisse, wenn die Kupplungs/­Bremseinheiten ein gemeinsames Kupplungsgehäuse aufweisen, welches die Schwungräder trägt. Die Hydraulikmittelzufüh­rung ist dabei mit einer berührungslosen, verschleißfreien Labyrinthdichtung im Kupplungsgehäuse versehen. Konstruk­tiv besonders einfach ist weiterhin die Anordnung, bei der die Kupplungswellen mit ihrem Außenende im zugewandten Innenende der jeweils zugeordneten Kurbelwelle gelagert sind. Das gleiche gilt dann, wenn die Kupplungswellen im Bereich ihrer Außenenden Verzahnungen als Sonnenräder der Planetengetriebe aufweisen. Die Planetenräder der Plane­tengetriebe sind zweckmäßigerweise auf Zapfen gelagert, die an Innenwangen der Kurbelwellen angeformt oder in diese eingesetzt sind.
