Auf der in Fig. 1,2 unteren Seite der Wickeltrommel 2 sind mehrere, mit der Trommel 2 rotierende Fadenträger-Bügel 5 angebracht. Der Wickelkörper besteht somit aus der Wickeltrommel 2 und den Trägerbügeln 5, die gemeinsam um die Achse 3 rotieren. Die einen Enden 6 der Trägerbüger5 ragen in schlitze 7 einer rotierenden Grundscheibe 8, die anderen Enden 9 der Bügel 5 treten in Bohrungen 11 der Wickeltrommel 2 ein und sind mittels Klemmschrauben 51 radial entsprechend den Pfeilen 12 einstellbar. Dadurch lässt sich auch die Trägerpartie 13 der Bügel 5, die im wesentlichen parallel zur Achse 3 verläuft, radial einstellen, so dass der Wickelumfang des aus den Teilen 2,5 bestehenden Wickelkörpers 25 verstellbar wird. Claims (3)

1. A weft yarn storage unit for looms comprising a winding reel (25) having radially adjustable peripheral elements (5) and being arranged eccentrically with respect to a stationary axis (3) of the weft yarn storage unit, and a balloon-breaker housing (26) for the weft yarn (16) to be withdrawn from the winding reel (25) and inserted into the weaving shed of the loom, characterized by a circular yarn guide member (21) arranged concentrically in relation to the balloon-breaker housing (26) and to the stationary axis (3) of the weft yarn storage unit upon the yarn withdrawal end face (17) of the winding reel (25) for producing a constant peripheral distance (D) between winding reel (25) and balloon-breaker housing (26).
2. A storage unit according to claim 1, characterized in that the winding reel (25) consists of a drum-shaped component (2) and several yarn support rods (5) radially adjustable in relation thereto, wherein a disk (21) arranged concentrically to the balloon-breaker housing (26) is mounted on the end face (1) of the drum-shaped component (2) as a thread guide member.
