Description

The invention relates to a hanger for a support rail provided with a perforated longitudinal web, of cross-section T-shaped, of a suspended ceiling, with a vertical hanging rod which is angled at its lower end to a hook leg which can be suspended in a hole in the longitudinal rail web.

A simple way of fastening these suspended ceilings is to fasten the mounting rails to the structural ceiling using wires, the lower ends of which are inserted through the holes in the mounting rails and twisted into an eyelet (US Pat. No. 3,369,332). Because the mounting rails of a suspended ceiling have to be aligned in height after the first, preliminary assembly, this type of suspension is difficult because a subsequent height adjustment after the formation of the eyelets at the wire ends is hardly possible or only with a relatively large amount of work (US-A -2 915 275).

In order to overcome these difficulties, numerous embodiments of hangers for suspended ceilings have been created which allow simple and convenient length adjustment of the hanger even after the preliminary assembly. In a known hanger of the type mentioned (DE-U-7 226 205), a vertical hanger rod forming the lower hanger part is hook-shaped at its lower end, so that it can be hung in a hole in the mounting rail longitudinal web in a simple and convenient manner . Such hangers have been used in large numbers for a long time because of the easy attachment of the mounting rail.

Usually the suspended ceiling exerts a tensile load on the hangers carrying it. However, if the mounting rail is lifted, for example if a partition is placed under the mounting rail, or if the ceiling is to be raised to align the entire ceiling with the installation of the suspended ceiling, there is a risk in known hangers that the hook will come out of the mounting rail. Longitudinal web detaches. This danger does not exist with the described wire eyelet assembly, which is considered disadvantageous because of the cumbersome assembly and the practically lacking adjustment facility.

A remedy for the known hangers with hook-shaped hanger bars could be to bend the hook after the final assembly in order to prevent unintentional unhooking. However, this measure would be very complex, especially if relatively strong hanging rods are used, which can no longer be easily bent in the assembled state.

From DE-U-6 752143 hangers are already known, the hook legs of which overlap the carrying device, but it is not readily possible to hang in a T-shaped mounting rail.

The object of the invention is therefore to design a hanger of the type mentioned in such a way that, on the one hand, simple assembly by hanging in a hole in the mounting rail longitudinal bar is possible without the need for subsequent deformation of the hanger rod, but that, on the other hand, unhooking in the assembled state of the hanger rod is positively prevented.

This object is achieved in that the upwardly directed hook leg is followed by an angled rod section angled from the hook plane, which merges into a support section spanning the support rail longitudinal web, the lower end of the hanging rod still being an open but spatially curved hook is carried out so that the attachment to the longitudinal web of the mounting rail can be done by simply hanging, the hanging rod is held at an oblique angle to the longitudinal direction of the mounting rail.

When the hanging bar extends vertically upwards from the mounting rail, the support section engages over the mounting rail longitudinal web. If the mounting rail is now raised, the longitudinal web abuts against the support section from below, so that unhooking is prevented.

In a further development of the concept of the invention it is provided that in the suspended state the clear distance between the support section and the longitudinal rail web is smaller than the difference between the hole diameter in the longitudinal rail web and the diameter of the hanging bar. It is thereby achieved that the upper edge of the mounting rail longitudinal web comes into contact with the support section before the lower apex of the hook section suspended in the hole of the longitudinal web abuts against the edge of the hole at the bottom and, as a result of this contact, could dodge to either side. Therefore, there is no danger that the hook-shaped, lower part of the hanging bar could turn out of the hole when the mounting rail is lifted.

Advantageously, the support section overlapping the mounting rail longitudinal web ends in an end section that is angled or bent obliquely downwards. It is thereby achieved that the support section hangs onto the upper edge of the longitudinal web when the mounting rail is lifted and does not move in this position from its position overlapping the longitudinal web even by a possible transverse force can be.

  • Fig. 2 eine Ansicht in Richtung des Pfeiles II in Fig.1,
The invention is explained in more detail below using an exemplary embodiment which is illustrated in the drawing. It shows
  • 1 a hanger suspended from a structural ceiling, which carries a mounting rail of a false ceiling,
  • 2 is a view in the direction of arrow II in Fig.1,
  • Fig. A section along the line 111-111 in Fig. 1 and
  • 4 is an enlarged, perspective view of the lower end of the hanger according to FIG. 1 suspended in the mounting rail.

The two-part hanger shown in FIG. 1 has an upper hanger rod 1 which is fastened to a structural ceiling 2. A lower hanger bar 3 is fastened to a double angled leaf spring 4 by the multi-bent upper end of the hanger bar 3 being inserted through two holes in the leaf spring 4. The two ends of the leaf spring 4 form oblique canting springs 4a and 4b in the opposite direction, each of which receives the upper hanger rod 1 in a bore. If the two canting springs 4a and 4b are pressed against each other, the leaf spring 4 can be moved on the hanging bar 1. If the canting springs 4a and 4b are released, the two hanging bars 1 and 3 are connected to one another in the desired height or length setting.

A cross-sectionally T-shaped support rail 5 of a false ceiling has horizontal support flanges 6 and an upwardly projecting longitudinal web 7 which, in the exemplary embodiment shown, has two longitudinal beads 8, 9.

Between the two beads 8, 9 5 holes 10 are arranged at regular intervals along the mounting rail, in each of which the hanging bar 3 is suspended.

For this purpose, the hanging rod 3 is angled at its lower end to form a hook leg 11. At this obliquely upwardly projecting hook leg 11 closes from the hook plane, d. H. the plane containing the hanger bar 3 and the hook leg 11 angled, also rising bar section 12, which merges into a support section 13 which is curved in the embodiment shown and which engages over the longitudinal rail web 7.

Because of the curved design of the support section 13, in the exemplary embodiment shown it has an end section 14 which is angled or bent obliquely downwards. 1 and 3 it is indicated with a broken line that this end section 14 can also be omitted.

As can be seen particularly clearly from FIG. 2, the clear distance a is smaller than the distance b between the lower apex of the hanging bar 3 and the lower edge of the hole 10. This dimension b is also the difference between the diameter of the hole 10 and the diameter of the hanging rod 3.

Therefore, when the support rail 5 is raised from the position shown in the figures, the support section 13 first contacts the upper edge of the longitudinal web 7 before the lower apex of the hanging bar 3 touches the lower part of the wall of the hole 10.

During assembly, the hanger rod 3 is suspended in the hole 10 in an oblique position perpendicular to the vertical position and brought into the vertical position shown in the figures. This hooking is possible because the distance between the support section 13 and the vertical part of the hanger bar 3 is larger at every point than the part of the longitudinal web 7 above the hole 10, i. H. the spatially curved hook at the lower end of the hanger bar 3 is sufficiently open to enable it to be hung up. Unhooking is also only possible in an inclined position of the hanger rod 3, which the hanger rod can no longer assume after connection to the upper hanger rod 1 or to the structural ceiling 2 in the assembled state, so that unintentional unhooking is excluded.
