Wellenabdichtung an Zapfen von changierenden Verreibwalzen an Farbwerken, bei denen die Abdichtung gegen herausfließendes Öl mittels eines Radialdichtringes vorgenommen wird. Es ist allgemein bekannt, daß an rotierenden Wellen als Abdichtungen Radialdichtringe Verwendung finden. Diese Radialdichtringe sind mit einer Dichtlippe versehen, die auf der Wellenoberfläche anliegt. Mittels eines Spiralringes wird die Dichtlippe auf die Wellenoberfläche gezogen und eine Abdichtung erzielt. Die Dichtfähigkeit dieser Radialdichtringe hängt von der Umfangsgeschwindigkeit der Welle ab, wodurch diese Dichtringe für hohe Geschwindigkeiten nur bedingt tauglich sind. Kommt zusätzlich zur Rotation der Welle auch noch eine changierende Bewegung hinzu, so treten beim Abdichten erhebliche Schwierigkeiten auf, so daß nur noch bis ca. 4 m/sek. eine Dichtung zustande kommt. Es liegt daher der Erfindung die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine Wellenabdichtung für rotierende und changierende Wellen zu schaffen, mittels der trotz Changierbewegung eine absolute Abdichtung ermöglicht wird.Shaft sealing on the journals of oscillating distribution rollers on inking units, in which the sealing against oil flowing out is carried out by means of a radial sealing ring. Auf einem Bund 2 des Reiberzapfens 1 ist ein Kugellager 3 aufgeschoben, das sich einerseits an einem Sicherungsring 4 und andererseits an einem Stützring 5 abstützt. Das Kugellager 3 ist zur Reiberseite hin durch einen Fettdichtring .6 6 verschlossen. Das Kugellager 3 ist mit seinem Außenring in ein Führungsgehäuse 7 gepreßt, das mittels eines Keils 8 in einer Führungsleiste 9 in axialer Richtung geführt und gegen Verdrehen gesichert wird. In der dem Kugellager 3 gegenüberliegenden Seite des Führungsgehäuses 7 ist ein Radialdichtring 10 eingepreßt, dessen Dichtlippe 11 auf den eigentlichen Lagerzapfen 12 wirkt. Das noch durch diesen Spalt dringende Öl gelangt bis zur Dichtlippe 11 des Radialdichtringes 10, der wie oben beschrieben mit dem Reiber verbunden ist. Dadurch, daß dieser Radialdichtring nicht rotiert, aber aufgrund der Konstruktion zusammen mit dem Reiber changiert, befindet sich die Dichtlippe immer an der gleichen Stelle am Reiberzapfen, so daß der Vorteil entsteht, daß die Dichtlippe nur in radialer Richtung und nicht in axialer Richtung abdichten muß. Hierdurch ist erreicht, daß mittels eines herkömmlichen Dichtungssystems eine Abdichtung des Reibers gegen Ölaustritt auch noch bei höheren Maschinendrehzahlen erzielt wird.The function of the shaft seal is described as follows: Behind the bearing of the grater, a splash ring 14 is arranged as seen towards the center of the machine.
