Abstract

In a setting machine for spacing formed articles a conveyor belt provides closely spaced green bricks in longitudinal rows. The longitudinal rows are transferred to a setting support collecting the green bricks as a compact setting or a partial setting of several parallel longitudinal rows or of one longitudinal row. The setting support comprises spaced rollers and carrying strips between the rollers and capable of moving in the direction of the roller axes. Each carrying strip is subdivided into spaced apart sections which are linked to lift cylinders moving them up and down independently. The lift cylinders are mounted on a carriage movable in the direction of the roller axes and which carries along the sections. The sections can lift up the green bricks from the rollers, the carriage can then move and after sufficient distance is reached the green bricks are lowered onto the rollers. The thus provided setting can be removed onto a conveyor or can be lifted by grippers.

Ist der gewünschte Abstand erreicht, bewegen sich die Hubzylinder 11 und damit auch die die Querreihe 5b tragenden Abschnitte 10 nach unten und setzen die Querreihe 5b auf die Rollen 8 ab. Der Wagen 13 bewegt sich nun weiter in Richtung des Pfeiles A und zieht die zwischen der Querreihe 5b und der Querreihe 5c gewünschte Lücke. Ist diese Lücke erreicht, senken die Hubzylinder 11c ab und die Querreihe 5c wird auf die Rollen 8 abgesetzt. In der geschilderten Weise werden zwischen allen Querreihen 5 die gewünschten Abstände bzw. (Fig.3). Die Hubzylinderlla und 11b werden dann gleichzeitig betätigt. Je nach Programm der einzelnen Setzlagen bzw. Teilsetzlagen kann die Betätigung der Hubzylinder 11 vorgenommen werden. Claims (3)

1. Apparatus for producing a setting course or a partial setting course from « green bricks, comprising a conveyer, bringing together green bricks arranged adjacent one another in longitudinal rows, by which the longitudinal rows are conveyed to a fixed setting station which consists of rollers arranged spaced from one another and supporting ledges arranged between the rollers and movable in the direction of the longitudinal axes of the rollers, and a belt on which the green bricks are made available,
characterised in that,
each supporting ledge (9) is divided into individual sections (10), that
the sections (10) are arranged spaced from one another that
the sections (10) are in communication with lifting cylinders (11) which move the sections (10) up and down independently of one another, that the lifting cylinders (11) are fixed to a carriage (13) movable in the direction of the longitudinal axes of the rollers.
2. Apparatus according to claim 1, characterised in that, the adjacent sections (10) of the supporting ledges (9) are interconnected by a linkage (12) and that the linkages (12) are movable up and down by lifting cylinders (11).
3. Apparatus according to claim 1, characterised in that, horizontal retaining beams (14) are arranged in the region above the sections (10).
