Description

The invention relates to a bottom mattress with cross members as a support for a top mattress, in which each cross member is fastened to the support frame of the bottom mattress by means of an elastic connecting piece which can be changed in spring strength, each connecting piece having a compression spring which can be pretensioned by means of an adjusting nut.

Such a sub-mattress is known from DE-B-25 32 583. The suspension made of rubber washers or coil springs can be preloaded by a maximum of 1 cm, while the spring travel is a maximum of 2 cm.

The aforementioned preload value of the suspension of 1 cm leads to different body weights, e.g. B. of 50 or 100 kg (490 or 981 N) can not be sufficiently taken into account in the spring hardness. In addition, the spring travel of 2 cm is not sufficient to absorb the bulges of the body in the shoulder and hip area with the spring pressure of the lower mattress in a lateral position, i.e. with a smaller contact surface and higher contact pressure, with an upper mattress of commercially available elasticity so that an orthopedic relaxed and healthy lying is made possible. Due to the low preloading option and the low spring travel, it is only possible in individual cases to convey the feeling of a state of suspension. It is also inappropriate that the. Cross beams are weakened in their stability by the relatively large dome-shaped design in relation to their thickness, so that with a higher body weight with maximum pretension, during a jerky sleep movement, a cross beam can break or a cross beam tilts from its gimbal suspension.

The invention has for its object to avoid these disadvantages by increasing the preload of the suspension and the spring travel so that they are sufficient for all occurring body weights.

This object is achieved in that each connector consists of an arranged in a receiving bore of the support frame and firmly connected to this lower telescopic sleeve for receiving the adjusting nut and the lower part of the compression spring and one connected to the lower connected upper telescopic sleeve, the latter with the cross member is firmly connected and receives the upper part of the compression spring, both telescopic sleeves being connected to one another in such a way that the upper sleeve is limited in its upward movement by the setting pressure of the compression spring.

This object can also be achieved according to the invention in that each connecting piece consists of a spring sleeve arranged in a receiving bore of the support frame and firmly connected to this for receiving the adjusting nut and the lower part of the compression spring and a washer, the latter being firmly connected to the cross member and receives the upper part of the compression spring, and that the cross member has a bore for receiving the holding button and the underlying support frame have another hole for receiving an adjusting screw, the holding button and adjusting screw are connected by a retaining strand and from the retaining button on both sides to another retaining strand a stop arranged between two cross beams is arranged.

Further developments of the invention are contained in dependent claims 2, 3, 5 and 6.

The measure of independent claim 4 with the arrangement of a holding button and an adjusting screw and their connection by means of a holding strand ensures that the cross members do not shift in the lying position and are held in the lying plane when not in use.

  • Figuren 5, 6 die Anordnung von Gurtfeststellern.
The invention is described and explained in more detail below with reference to two inventive solutions shown in the drawing. It shows
  • FIG. 1 shows a section through a connecting piece according to a first inventive solution,
  • FIG. 2 shows a section through a connecting piece according to a second inventive solution with axial centering of the cross members,
  • FIG. 3 shows the design according to FIG. 2 in a view with several cross members,
  • Figure 4 shows the fixation of the cross member by a double tether and
  • Figures 5, 6 the arrangement of belt locks.

In Fig. 1, a first inventive solution is shown in a longitudinal cross section. It shows a support frame 1 with a receiving bore 2, in which a lower telescopic sleeve 3 is arranged on fastening screws 8. In the lower telescopic sleeve there is an adjusting nut 6 with bowl holes 7. Furthermore, the sleeve has an internal thread 4 and an inward-pointing bend 5, which an upper telescopic sleeve 9 on its outward-facing bend 10 by the setting pressure of a compression spring 14 in its movement locked upwards so that the total spring travel is determined by the height of the upper telescopic sleeve. On the surface of the telescopic sleeve there are fastening screws 11 in the middle, which fix a cross member 13 via a rubber buffer 12. The compression spring 14 is pretensioned at the key holes 7 with a suitable key. Angle supports 15 can be provided, which serve to reduce the support height by the thickness of the support frame 1 when using a base mattress for insertion in a bed or in a couch.

A second inventive solution is shown in FIGS. 2 and 3. In a support frame 16 is the receiving bore 17 for the spring sleeve 18 and an internal thread 19, in which the adjusting nut 20 can be adjusted in height with key holes 21 and thread 22. The compression spring 29 rests on the adjusting nut 20 and is covered with an insulating washer 30 and connected to the cross member by fastening clips 31 '. The cross member 31 has a bore 27 behind the compression spring, on which a holding button 28 with a clamp 26 and a retaining ring 26 'are arranged. A retaining strand 25 runs through the retaining ring 26 '. From the retaining button 28, a further retaining strand 25' is arranged on both sides to a retaining point 35 provided between two cross members 31. The holding strand 25 is attached to the holder of the bolt 23 of the adjusting screw 23 '. With this, both the height can be selected and the securing against lateral displacement of the crossbeam can be made via the threaded bore 24 of a fixed nut 34. The advantage of this arrangement is that the cross member adapts to the anatomically different pressure loads by direct action of the compression springs 29 also about its transverse axis. Due to the arrangement of the holding strands, the cross members 31 are axially centered by the holding buttons 36. By using a belt holder, longitudinal and transverse displacement of the cross beams is completely avoided.

In Fig. 4 it is shown how the cross members are fixed by a double tether 39 with the aid of a stitching 40 and via belt slots 41; which are embedded in the support frame 1, are guided and their spring height can be adjusted with a belt lock 42. This arrangement means that the crossbeams cannot move in the lying position and at the same time are kept constant in a lying level when not in use. With this basic setting, a certain body support weight can be taken into account during the adjustment, while the fine adjustment of the individual body zones is carried out on the compression spring 29 by means of the adjusting screw 20.

The lateral displacement of the crossbeams is also fixed to rubberbelt arrestors 46 by rubber straps 43 which are also adjustable and which are fastened to brackets 44 of the crossbeams 31 and are guided via rubber belt slots 45. This arrangement has the advantage that, in the event of pressure loads in the event of lateral thrust effects, the opposing belt comes into action and stabilizes the cross member even when loaded in this direction.
