Abstract

En algunos modos de realización, la invención proporciona una unidad para el suministro de productos agroquímicos a las raíces de una planta, que comprende: una o más zonas de desarrollo radicular; opcionalmente, una o más zonas agroquímicas; y un pesticida; en donde las zonas agroquímicas están formuladas para liberar al menos un producto agroquímico en las zonas de desarrollo radicular en forma de liberación controlada cuando las zonas de desarrollo radicular están hinchadas; y en donde la relación en peso en seco de las zonas de desarrollo radicular con respecto a las zonas agroquímicas en una unidad seca es de 0,05: 1 a 20: 1, o en donde el volumen total de las zonas de desarrollo radicular de la unidad es de al menos 0,2 ml cuando la unidad está completamente hinchada.
