Abstract
La presente invención proporciona una planta de Gypsophila alterada que comprende una flor que tiene un fenotipo alterado, en donde la flor que tiene un fenotipo alterado comprende una cantidad elevada de beta-caroteno, en donde la cantidad elevada de beta-caroteno es al menos 2 veces la concentración de beta-caroteno en comparación con la concentración de beta-caroteno en una flor de Gypsophila de control y para métodos para seleccionar las plantas de Gypsophila alteradas.
