Abstract

El monitoreo y análisis de las condiciones de un oleoducto, que comprende: - proporcionar un dispositivo de inspección en un material polimérico expandido o elastomérico que comprende al menos un instrumento de medición que incluye al menos una carcasa y al menos un sensor; - introducir dicho dispositivo de inspección en el oleoducto;- recuperar dicho dispositivo de inspección; en el que dicha carcasa es hecho de un material polimérico o elastomérico, que tiene una densidad, medida de acuerdo con la norma ASTM D3574, mayor a o igual a 30 kg/m3, preferiblemente en el rango de 700 a 2.000 kg/m3. Dicho método permite el registro y el almacenamiento continuo de parámetros útiles para revelar defectos y/o anomalías dentro del oleoducto que transporta gas y/o líquidos, también como posibles variaciones en el diámetro interno del mismo.
