Abstract
Un fluido de perforación de emulsión invertida, y un método para el uso del mismo en la perforación de pozos de perforación, con buenas propiedades reológicas a altas temperaturas y presiones. Una modalidad de los fluidos de perforación están libres de arcillas organofílicas y lignitos, libres de cloruro de calcio, y comprenden un alcohol en la fase interna, un emulsionante de amonio cuaternario, y sólidos argiláceos. En una modalidad, el alcohol es un glicerol, un poliglicerol, o una mezcla de los mismos. En una modalidad, el aceite base para la emulsión es una parafina y/o un aceite mineral. Los fluidos de perforación proporcionan buena lubricidad y altas relaciones de penetración.
