Abstract

Se expone un método para tratar una formación conteniendo hidrocarburos in situ y produciendo un fluido de hidrocarburos desde la formación, en donde los hidrocarburos presentes en la formación son pirolizados a una presión elevada con la aplicación de un control de presión/temperatura tal que la presión/temperatura es a lo sumo la temperatura que puede ser calculada para una presión seleccionada de la ecuación. P=O,07*e en donde P es la presión (bar absoluto), T es la temperatura (oC), y A y B son parámetros predeterminados los cuales se relacionan a una propiedad la cual es relevante a la cantidad, la composición o la calidad de los fluidos de hidrocarburos producidos.
