Abstract

Изобретение относится к композиции и способу для очистки загрязненной воды, в особенности для удаления вредных загрязнителей, подобных мышьяку, в дополнение к удалению других вредных микробиологических загрязнителей и суспендированных дисперсных примесей до получения воды, подходящей для использования при употреблении человеком. Как было обнаружено, флоккулирующая/дезинфицирующая композиция, которая содержит определенные слоистые двойные гидроксиды, которые содержат по меньшей мере один избранный двухвалентный катион и по меньшей мере один избранный трехвалентный катион, обеспечивает улучшенное удаление мышьяка.
