Abstract
It is generally know that certain plants of slack nature can be used as potted plants when they are made to grow in a tube projecting from the pot, with more or less hanging growth from the upper end of the tube. It should be possible to place the planting tube 6 quickly and securely in the pot, i.e., inserting it down against the bottom of the pot, and therefore the tube should have holes, through which the roots can pass. In the planting tubes used mostly heretofore, the lower end of the tube is configured as a conical tip, in which the root holes are formed, but this means a relatively small area for the roots to pass through in the perpendicular direction.
