Claims (8)
1. Fremgangsmåde til at printe et mønster ved hjælp af en ink-jet-printer ved brug af varmeaktiverbart tonfarvetørstof, omfattende trinnene, at: fremstille en flydende blæk egnet til brug i en ink-jet-printer, som bruger flydende blæk, nævnte flydende blæk omfattende vand, partikler af varmeaktiverbart tonfarvetørstof, og en viskositetsstabilisator, hvori det flydende blæk har en viskositet på ikke mindre end 6,0 mPa.s (centipoise), hvori det varmeaktiverbare tonfarvetørstof er tungt opløseligt i viskositetsstabilisatoren, tilføre til ink-jet-printeren, som printer flydende blæk med nævnte flydende blæk; printe nævnte flydende blæk til et ønsket billede ved hjælp af nævnte ink-jet-printer på et substrat til at danne et billede, hvori det varmeaktiverbare to nf arve tørstof s partikler er faste på udskrivningstidspunktet; og varmeaktivere det varmeaktiverbare tonfarvetørstof, hvori billedet efter varmeaktivering har en optisk densitet på ikke mindre end 1,25 målt ved et X-Rite densitometer kendetegnet ved, at viskositetsstabilisatoren omfatter ikke mindre end 15 vægt-% af den flydende blæk, og at ikke mindre end 95% af partiklerne af varmeaktiveret tonfarvetørstof har en diameter på 0,05 mikron eller derover.
2. Fremgangsmåde til at printe et mønster ved hjælp af en ink-jet-printer ved brug af varmeaktiverbart tonfarvetørstof ifølge krav 1, hvori det varmeaktiverbare tonfarvetørstofs partiklers partikelstørrelsersfordelings øvre grænse er en funktion af den snævreste blækbane inden i en ink-jet-printers skrivehoved brugt til at printe det flydende blæk, og det varmeaktiverbare tonfarvetørstofs samlede vægt til det flydende blæks totale vægt, ifølge den følgende formel:
