Abstract

A lid (1) for use with vessels (11) of diameter equal to or smaller than the diameter of the lid (1), said lid (1) comprising a first surface (2) opposing a second surface (3) arranged to abut a rim (15) on a vessel (11), an outer circumferential rim (9) and a center. The lid (1) further comprises multiple channels (5) for passage of fluid (19) between an inner space (12) defined by the second surface (3) of the lid (1) and an interior surface (13) of the vessel (11), and the surroundings (16), and that the channels (5) are arranged on the second surface (3) of the lid (1) where each channel (5) is arranged to form a gap (14) between the lid (1) and the rim (15) of the vessel (11).
