Abstract
A wind turbine tower segment (102) for wind turbines (10) is provided that inciudes a wind turbine tower segment body (2) having a longitudinal axis (122); and a first (141) and a second end (142); wherein the surface of at least one of the first and the second end is flot perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the wind turbine tower segment. Further, a wind turbine having such a wind turbine tower segment is provided. The method inciudes providing a second wind turbine tower segment having a longitudinal axis and a first and a second end, wherein the surface of at least one of the first and the second end is not perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the wind turbine tower segment; and mounting the second wind turbine tower segment to a first wind turbine tower segment.
