Abstract

The invention relates to a method and an apparatus for the dry forming of a fibre web, in which a multiplicity of fibres are deposited onto an air-permeab depositing belt within a forming zone by means of an air stream. For this purpose, the air is suction extracted on an underside of the depositing belt, 50 that the fibres are deposited on a top side of the depositing belt 50 as to form a material layer. In order to obtain as uniform a mass distribution as possible within the material layer on the top side of the depositing belt, the material layer is guided on the top side of the depositing belt through a compensation zone in which a compensating distribution of the fibres on the top side of the depositing belt is brought about by an exciting of the material layer to vibrat ion.

Claims (14)

1. Method for the dry forming of a fibre web, in which a multiplicity of fibres are deposited onto an air-permeable depositing belt within a forming zone by means of an air stream, in which the air is suction-extracted on an underside of the depositing belt, and in which the material layer of the fibres which is produced on a top side of the depositing belt is conveyed out of the forming zone by the depositing belt, characterized in that the material layer is guided on the top side of the depositing belt through a compensation zone in which a compensating distribution of the fibres on the top side of the depositing belt is brought about by a vibration of the material layer.
2. Method according to Claim 1, characterized in that vibration excitation acts directly on the material layer or is transmitted indirectly to the material layer by the depositing belt.
3. Method according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the material layer and/or the depositing belt are/is excited to vibrations by at least one vibration actuator.
4. Method according to Claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the material layer and/or the depositing belt are/is excited to vibrations by a pulsating air stream or by an airborne sound.
5. Method according to one of Claims 1 to 4, characterized in that, within the compensation zone, the material layer is excited to vibrations linearly or areally over a machine width.
6. Method according to Claim 5, characterized in that the areal excitation is restricted to predefined area regions of the material layer within the compensation zone .
7. Method according to one of Claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the vibration excitation of the material layer within the compensation zone and/or within the machine width takes place with variable frequencies and/or variable amplitudes.
8. Apparatus for carrying out the method according to one of Claims 1 to 7, with a forming device (1) which deposits a multiplicity of fibres within a forming zone by means of an air stream, with an air-permeable depositing belt (5) which is assigned to the forming device (1) for the uptake of the fibres and which is designed to be continuously drivable for the conveyance of the material layer (7) formed by deposition of the fibres, and with a suction-extraction device (9) which is arranged on that side of the depositing belt (5) which lies opposite the forming device (1), characterized in that the depositing belt (5) is assigned a compensation device (11), by means of which a compensating distribution of the fibres on the top side of the depositing belt (5) is brought about by a vibration of the material layer (7).
9. Apparatus according to Claim 8, characterized in that the compensation device (11) has at least one vibration actuator (12) which is coupled to the depositing belt (5) .
10. Apparatus according to Claim 9, characterized in that the vibration actuator (12) is formed by one or more rotating camshafts (17), the camshaft (17), or camshafts (17), extending, with a plurality of cams (18) arranged on the circumference, transversely with respect to the depositing belt (5).
11. Apparatus according to Claim 9, characterized in that the vibration actuator (12) is formed by at least one, or more, vibrating elements (16), the vibrating element (16) or vibrating elements (16) being supported on an underside of the depositing belt (5).
12. Apparatus according to Claim 8, characterized in that the compensation device (11) has at least one airborne-sound source (19) which is arranged above or below the depositing belt.
13. Apparatus according to one of Claims 8 to 12, characterized in that the compensation device (11) has a control unit (22) for controlling the vibration excitation which is connected to the vibration actuator (12).
14. Apparatus according to one of Claims 8 to 13, characterized in that the suction-extraction device (9) has on the underside of the depositing belt (5) a suction connection piece (10.2) which is assigned to the compensation device (11)
