cin- eller phenylalanin-rest, X£ er en leucin- eller ly-sin-rest, og X^ er en glycinamid-rest eller hydroxyl-gruppe.
Disse analogforbindelser udviser hæmningseffekter i forhold til naturlige hormoners uteruskontraherende og blodtryksøgende aktivitet og effekten er større og/eller mere langvarig end hidtil kendte stoffers tilsvarende effekt. Det fælles, strukturelle kendetegn ved alle disse analogforbindelser er tilstedeværelsen af en aromatisk, hydrofobisk D-aminosyre i position 2.
