A Christmas tree foot for attaching a Christmas tree: wherein the Christmas tree foot comprises a plastic assembly member (1) and a plastic foot (2); wherein the connecting element is internally and in the upper 2/3 of the length formed as a cylinder (6); the inner member of the lower third being formed as a cone (3); wherein the connecting member externally and in the upper 2/3 of its length is formed as a cylinder; the outer member and in the lower third being formed as a ball having a larger diameter than the diameter of the cylindrical piece; wherein the foot comprises a hub shaped as a spherical cavity (4); characterized in that the connector (1) comprises two slots (5) which are arranged overhead and extend from the bottom of the cone and halfway up the connector; so that the connecting member is adapted to the foot in such a way that the connecting member is configured to be pressed down into the spherical cavity of the foot such that a mechanical joint is formed between the connecting member and the foot.

The Christmas tree foot according to claim 1, wherein the assembly element (1) and the foot (2) are made of plastic type PA 6.6.

The Christmas tree foot according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the foot (2) is provided with four legs arranged at a mutual distance of 90 °.

The Christmas tree foot according to any one of claims 1-3, wherein the ball-shaped cavity (4) of the foot (2) alone is open upwards.

A method of attaching a Christmas tree to a Christmas tree foot according to any one of claims 1-4, comprising: i) providing a Christmas tree foot, the assembly member (1) being pressed down into the foot (2); ii) pressing the stem of a tapered Christmas tree down into the assembly member (1) positioned in the middle of the Christmas tree base; iii) aligning the Christmas tree.
