Abstract
The invention relates to a method for treating nitrate-containing water consisting in transferring waste water containing nitrate and impurities through at least one reverse osmosis and/or electrodialysing cell after removing solid or suspended materials and/or non-alkali metallic compounds and/or carbonate ions, a concentrate being additionally concentrated and nitrates being obtainable in the form of a concentrated solution or solid salt.
