Die Zuschnitte 2 für Wäschesäcke 1 lassen sich aus einer Stoffoder Folienbahn ineinandergeschachtelt ausschneiden, ohne daß dabei Abfälle entstehen. Zum Herstellen des Sacks wird der dritte Bereich 6 um die Faltkante 7 auf den ersten Bereich 3 aufgeklappt. Danach wird der zweite Bereich 4 um die den Sackboden bildende Faltkante 5 auf den dritten Bereich 6 aufgeklappt. Die Bereiche 3, 4 werden daraufhin mittels einer, die zweite Seitenkante des Wäschesacks 1 bildenden Naht 8 miteinander verbunden. Bei dieser Naht kann es sich um eine genähte Naht handeln und zwar sowohl, wenn der Sackwerkstoff ein Gewebe, als auch wenn er eine Folie ist. Ebenso läßt sich die Naht 8 als Schweißnaht ausbilden, wenn der Sackwerkstoff direkt schweißbar, oder wenn ein Schweißhilfsraxttel in den Bereich der Naht eingelegt wird. Zusätzlich kann noch eine Naht 9 parallel und benachbart zur den Sackboden bildenden Faltkante 5 gelegt werden, die jedoch nur dazu dient, ein Herausklappen des Bereichs 6 beim Waschen in der Waschmaschine zu verhindern. Dies wird dadurch erreicht, daß die Bereiche 12, 15 trapezförmig zugeschnitten werden, wobei die Breitseiten 5, 10 der Sackbreite entsprechen, während die Schmalseiten 14, 17 etwa der halben Sackbreite entsprechen. Die Schrägkanten 13, 16 verlaufen parallel zueinander, so daß sich die Zuschnitte 11 genauso wie die Zuschnitte 2 ineinandergeschachtelt aus einer Materialbahn abfallos ausschneiden lassen. Die Überlappung der Bereiche 12, 15 erstreckt siqh in diesem Fall schräg verlaufend über die halbe Sackbreite, wodurch eine noch ausreichende Überlappung bei gleichzeitigem leichten Öffnen des Wäschesacks in der Waschmaschine gegeben ist.
