Jeder Faserhalter 2 besteht aus zwei Halterhälften 17, 18, in denen jeweils mittig eine sich koaxial zur Längsachse 14 des Faserhalters 2 erstreckende Nut 21 zur Aufnahme eines Lichtwellenleiters ausgebildet ist. Das Mittelteil 30 eines jeden Faserhalters 2 weist zwei an den Halterhälften 17, 18 ausgebildete halbzylinderförmige Materialverdickungen 19 auf, an deren einem Endabschnitt 3 ein gegenüber den Materialverdickungen 19 vorragender halbkreisringförmiger Steg 4 ausgeformt ist.
