Support device for the construction industry for storing and transporting equipment etc.

The invention relates to a substantially rectangular receiving device for the construction industry for storing and transporting equipment to be used on construction sites or the like, with a container base and side walls projecting from this.

The object of the invention is to create a device of the type mentioned which is suitable for equipment or the like of different sizes and weights and also for long objects such as rods, bars, squared timbers, etc.

This object is achieved according to the invention in that the receiving device is formed by two individual devices that can be used either individually or together, namely a receiving frame formed by upright corner posts and an arrangement of crossbeams that rigidly connect the corner posts and a receiving container that can be inserted into this between the corner posts and is secured against lateral displacement when inserted, which

With the device according to the invention, the receiving container can therefore be manufactured in a kind of lightweight construction without being designed for heavy loads, which reduces the manufacturing costs.

The receiving frame is required in addition. However, if it is not required for the receiving container, this receiving frame can be used for other purposes, namely to hold long items that can be placed between the raised corner posts on the relevant crossbeams and can protrude over the receiving frame. The device shown in the drawing is made up of two individual devices, namely a receiving container 1 and a receiving frame 2, both of which are essentially rectangular when viewed from above. Depending on the current purpose, the receiving container 1 and the receiving frame 2 can be used either separately or in combination with one another. The dimensions of the receiving container 1 and the receiving frame 2 are thus adapted to one another in such a way that the receiving container 1 can be removably inserted into the receiving frame 2, whereby it is secured against lateral displacement when inserted, which can be achieved by means of corresponding stop surfaces or similar stop parts.

The receiving container 1 has a container base 3 and four side walls 4, 5, 6, 7 standing up on the rectangular sides of the container base. As already mentioned, the container can be designed as a lightweight construction, as it can be inserted into the receiving frame 2 if necessary to increase stability. In the embodiment that is expedient in this respect, the side walls 4, 5, 6, 7 of the receiving container 1 are formed by a wire mesh 8. This also results in low container costs. It is also advantageous that the wire mesh 8 runs uninterrupted across the container corners 9, 10, 11, 12, i.e. there are no special vertical struts or the like at the container corners. In this way, the top and bottom of the container are only connected to one another via the wire mesh 8. This consists of

horizontally running bars 13 and vertical bars 14, which are welded at the top and bottom to a metal profile frame 15 and 16 respectively.

The container base could also be formed from such a wire mesh. In the embodiment, however, it is provided that the container base 3 is a removable shelf. In the case shown, these are floor boards 17, which are only indicated in dash-dot lines for the sake of clarity, and which are placed next to one another across the floor surface. The shelf can be placed on the lower metal profile frame 16, which has a support surface 18 facing the inside of the floor for this purpose.

The two metal profile frames 15, 16 have a rectangular outline, with the upper metal profile frame 15 forming a slightly larger rectangle, whereby the upper corner areas 19, 20, 21, 22 of the receiving container protrude outwards with respect to the container side walls, which is expedient for a reason to be explained below.

The receiving container 1 can be designed in such a way that several such containers 1 can be stacked on top of one another. For this purpose, the lower metal profile frame 16 of the upper container 1 can be placed on the upper metal profile frame 15 of the lower container 1. The receiving frame 2 is formed by corner posts 25, 26, 27, 28 standing up at the corners of the rectangle and an arrangement of crossbars 29, 30, 31, 32 that rigidly connect the corner posts. This crossbar arrangement forms a base for the inserted receiving container 1. The crossbar arrangement also contains a crossbar 32 or 30 on each of the two opposite sides 34, 35 that connects the lower areas of the two facing corner posts 27, 28 or 25, 26 in the manner of the crossbar of a U, onto which the equipment or the like that is longer in relation to the receiving frame 2, for example the rods 36 that are only indicated by a dot-dash line, can be placed when the receiving container 1 is removed. The length of these equipment 36 or the like. can be practically unlimited, since they can protrude any distance beyond the frame sides 34,35.

On the other two sides of the frame, 37, 38, the crossbeams can be arranged accordingly so that the long goods 36 can also be inserted transversely to the transverse position.

In the practical embodiment, a crossbar 32 or 30 or 29 or 31 connecting the lower corner post areas runs on all four frame sides 34, 35, 37, 38. All of these crossbars run at right angles to the corner posts. Above these crossbars 29, 30, 31, 32 connecting the lower corner post areas, the support frame 2 is expediently crossbar-free, i.e. the corner posts stand freely upright, so that the long goods 36 can not only be raised and lowered unhindered on the frame sides 34, 35, but can also be accessed from the other two frame sides 37, 38. This is particularly advantageous in connection with the measure that one of the two pairs of crossbeams formed by two crossbeams running on opposite sides of the rack, which serves to support the longer equipment 36 or the like, in the exemplary embodiment the pair of crossbeams 30, 32, is arranged above the other pair of crossbeams 29, 31, so that the inserted long goods 36 can be grasped from the side, i.e. from the frame sides 37, 38, with a forklift truck and can thus be lifted upwards out of the frame with the forklift truck.

So that the support frame 2 itself can be lifted up using a forklift, the crossbar arrangement should contain at least one crossbar on two opposing frames1, each with a height clearance from the lower corner post end that a forklift can reach under. In the example, this applies to all crossbars, including the lower-seated pair of crossbars 29, 31, so that the support frame 2 can be lifted up from

In the practical embodiment, the receiving container 1 can be inserted into the receiving frame 2 from above between the two opposing pairs of corner posts 27,28 and 25,26, i.e. between the frame sides 34 and 35. In this arrangement, the raised corner posts 25, 26, 27, 28 form stops for the receiving container 1, which prevent the receiving container from slipping in the longitudinal direction of the crossbeams 29, 31 forming the support surface 33. In the practical embodiment, the crossbeams forming the support surface 33 are the pair of crossbeams 29, 31 arranged further down. The pair of crossbeams 30, 32 located higher up thus overlaps the two facing container side walls 5, 7, like the corner posts.

As already mentioned, the upper corner areas 19,20,21,22 of the receiving container 1 can protrude outwards with respect to the container side walls 4,5,6,7. These container corner areas 19,20,21,22 are arranged and designed such that they

when the receiving container 1 is inserted into the receiving frame 2, the corner posts 25, 26, 27, 28 overlap at the top. It can also be provided that the corner areas 19, 20, 21, 22 engage with the corner posts 25, 26, 27, 28 in a way that prevents the receiving container 1 from moving sideways.

For this purpose, an upwardly projecting securing piece 39, 40, 41, 42 can be arranged at the upper end of the corner posts on the outside of the post facing away from the inside of the frame, which, when the receiving container 1 is inserted, overlaps the respective facing container corner area 19, 20, 21, 22 on the outside.

The receiving frame 2 is designed in such a way that several such receiving frames can be stacked on top of one another with their corner posts 25, 26, 27, 28. In the stacked state, the securing pieces 30, 40, 41, 42 of the lower frame overlap the lower ends of the corner posts 25, 26, 27, 28 of the upper frame. The securing pieces 39, 40, 41, 42 therefore have a dual function, in that they firstly secure the inserted receiving container 1 and secondly, when the receiving frames are stacked on top of one another, the upper frame against slipping to any side. The receiving frames 2 can also be stacked when the receiving container 1 is inserted. The securing pieces 39, 40, 41, 42 protrude so far upwards that they also overlap the lower corner post ends of the upper frame in this case.

The securing pieces 39,40,41,42 can have fastening holes 43 for establishing a connection with a lifting device,

A substantially rectangular receiving device for the construction industry in plan view for storing and transporting equipment or the like to be used on building sites, with a container base and side walls raised from this, characterized in that it is formed by two individual devices which can be used either individually or together, namely by a receiving frame (2) formed by raised corner posts (25, 26, 27, 28) and an arrangement of crossbeams (29, 30, 31, 32) rigidly connecting the corner posts and a receiving container (1) which can be removably inserted into this between the corner posts (25, 26, 27, 28) and is secured against lateral displacement when inserted, which has the container base (3) and the side walls (4, 5, 6, 7), the crossbeam arrangement forming a standing surface (33) as a base for the inserted receiving container (1) and at least two opposite frame sides (34,35) each have a crossbar connecting the lower areas of the two facing corner posts (27,28 and 25,26) in the manner of the crosspiece of a U (32 or 30) for placing longer equipment (36) or the like in relation to the receiving frame (2) when the receiving container (1) is removed. 2. Device according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the receiving container (1) can be inserted into the receiving frame (2) between two opposite pairs of corner posts (25, 26 and 27, 28), the clear distance (a) between the two pairs of corner posts (25, 26 and 27, 28) being greater than or substantially equal to the same-directed dimension (b) of the receiving container (1) and the clear distance (c) between the two corner posts (25 and or 27 and 28) of each pair of corner posts being smaller than the same-directed dimension (d) of the receiving container (1), so that the receiving container (1) in the inserted state sits on the two cross members (29, 31) connecting the two pairs of corner posts. 7. Device according to claim 5 and 6, characterized in that the receiving container (1) in the inserted state sits on the pair of cross members (29, 31) arranged further down. 8. Device according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the upper corner regions (19, 20, 21, 22) of the receiving container (1) protrude outwards with respect to the container side walls (4, 5, 6, 7) and, when the receiving container (1) is inserted into the receiving frame (2), they overlap the corner posts (25, 26, 27, 28) and engage with them, preventing lateral displacement of the receiving container (1). 9. Device according to claim 8, characterized in that at the upper end of the corner posts (25,26,27,28) at the an upwardly projecting securing piece (39,40,41,42) is arranged on the outside of the post facing away from the frame1, which securing piece engages over the facing corner area (19,20,21,22) of the container when the receiving container (1) is inserted. 10. Device according to claim 9, characterized in that that several support frames (2) with their corner posts (25,26,27, 28) can be stacked on top of one another, whereby in the stacked state the securing pieces (39,40,41,42) of the lower frame overlap the lower ends of the corner posts (25,26,27,28) of the upper frame. 11. Device according to claim 9 or 10, characterized in that the securing pieces (39, 40, 41, 42) have fastening holes (43) for establishing a connection to a lifting device. 12. Device according to one of claims 1 to 11, characterized in that at least the side walls (4, 5, 6, 7) of the receiving container (1) are formed by a wire mesh (8). 13. Device according to claim 12, characterized in that the wire mesh (8) runs uninterruptedly over the container corners (9,10,11,12). 14. Device according to claim 12 or 13, characterized in that the wire mesh (8) is attached, in particular welded, to a surrounding metal profile frame (15 or 16) at the top and bottom. 15. Device according to one of claims 1 to 14, characterized in that the container base (3) is a removable insert base. 16. Device according to one of claims 1 to 15, characterized in that several receiving containers (1) can be stacked on top of one another and at least one container side wall (4) contains an access opening (24) through which the interior of the container is accessible.
