Der Apparat besteht im wesentlichen aus dem Copirbuch A mit den hölzernen Deckeln d und dem Beschlag B. Letzterer besteht wieder aus den vier aufgeschraubten Platten ρ und den beiden Riegeln r. Sämmtliche Platten haben eine seitliche Leitung und bildet jede einen Keil, auf denen die beiden Riegel r, welche ebenfalls an der innern Fläche eine Keilfläche haben, aufgeschoben werden und so die Deckel des Copirbuches stark gegen einander pressen.The apparatus consists essentially of the copy book A with the wooden lids d and the fitting B.
