Die Erfindung weist gegenüber dem Bekannten die Vorteile auf, daß ein wesentlich dünnerer Rahmen herstellbar ist, als dies bisher möglich war. So können beispielsweise Tennisschläger mit einer Rahmendicke von 7 mm oder weniger hergestellt werden, und bei Badmintonschlägern ist eine Rahmendicke von 5 mm und weniger erreichbar. Dadurch werden die aerodynamischen Eigenschaften des Schlägers verbessert und seine Gestalt wird schlanker als bisher, was zu einer Verbesserung des Designs des Schlägers führt.
