Kreditkarten oder Scheckkarten werden in hohem Umfang verwendet. Mit ihnen wird mehr und mehr die Barzahlung beim Kauf von Artikeln ersetzt. Derartige Karten werden üblicherweise in Brieftaschen oder dergleichen getragen und haben keinerlei Sicherheitsvorrichtungen, so daß dann, wenn eine Kreditkarte verloren gegangen ist, der Eigentümer einen Verlust erleiden kann, da andere Personen die Kreditkarte mißbrauchen können. Es wäre wünschenswert, eine Sicherheitsvorrichtung für derartige Kreditkarten zur Verfugung zu haben.Credit cards or debit cards are widely used.
