Description
Detergents for animal fibers It has been found that the cleaning effect of anibnaktiver synthetic detergents in animal fibers, e.g. B. wool, can be improved significantly if you use the washing liquor fabrics of the general. formula added, in which H denotes aromatic nuclei substituted by chlorine atoms and / or hydroxyl groups, the phenolic hydroxyl group etherified or esterified and one R also being hydrogen. This the cleaning power of the washing raw materials in question, such as. B. the paraffin sulfonates obtainable by sulfochlorination of lan.gkettiger paraffin hydrocarbons and subsequent saponification, also alkarylsulfonates, fatty alcohol sulfonates and the condensation products of higher molecular weight fatty acids with oxethane or. IVIethylaminoethanesulphonic acid, improving effect, is all the more surprising since the additives mentioned have sometimes no, sometimes only poor detergency. These negatively substituted compounds of the diphenyl and triphenyl methane series effect on the one hand improved removal of the soiling and on the other hand delay the absorption of the anionic detergents onto the animal fibers, so that they remain in the washing process for a longer period of time.
44o/0 festgestellt.Example i An artificially soiled woolen cloth lasts for 10 minutes at 40 ° and. PH 7 in a softened water with a liquor ratio of i : Washed 2o, the wash liquor _o.5 g / 1 of a long-chain by sulfochlorination Paraffin hydrocarbons and subsequent saponification of paraffin sulfonate obtained and 1.5 g / 1 Glauber's salt, calcined. A photometer was used measured degree of whitening of the wash sample of. 44o / 0 determined.
-However, after adding 0.1 g / 1 of a triphenylmethane body obtainable according to patent 503 256 by condensation of chlorobenzaldehyde sulfonic acid with 2-4 dichlorophenol, a degree of lightening of 65% was achieved. EXAMPLE e If a body obtainable by butylating the phenolic hydroxyl group of the triphenylmethane compound mentioned in Example i was added to the wash liquor in an amount of 0.1 ig / 1, a degree of whiteness of the soiled woolen cloth of 76% was achieved. EXAMPLE 3 The 100% solution of a mixture of 23% of a paraffin sulphonate obtainable by sulphochlorination of long-chain paraffin hydrocarbons and subsequent saponification, 15% of a solvent, 12% ammonium sulphate and 50% water was used at a liquor ratio of 1: 3 for removal used by graphite oil stains on fine woolen cloth. If the cleaning effect was inadequate, a strong graying of the fabric base was observed. Became. against it. 30/0 of a compound obtainable by condensation of trichlorobenzyl chloride with phenolsulfonic acid according to patent 513463 (based on the total batch) was added, a significantly improved detachment of the stained soiling and a significantly lower graying of the fabric base was recorded. -
