Description

Den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet eine Reinigungsbürste insbesondere für Schreibmaschinen, Buchungsmaschinen, Rechenmaschinen, Instrumente und sonstige Gegenstände, die zum Zwecke der Entfernung von Farbe und Schmutzansätzen mit Lösungsmitteln, wie Alkohol, Benzin, Tetrachlorkohlenstoff od. dgl., gereinigt werden müssen. Es setzen sich Staub, Farbstoffrückstände usw. an, die nur mittels einer Bürste und dem in Betracht kommenden Lösungsmittel entfernt werden können. Man benutzt hierzu Stielbürsten, die außer den Borsten noch zweckentsprechend zum Teil mit Draht eingezogen sind, um eine gute Reinigung zu erzielen. Durch -die intensive Bürstenbewegung, die bei diesem Reinigungsvorgang erforderlich ist, tritt der Übelstand auf, daß die Reinigungsflüssigkeit in Verbindung mit der durch das Bürsten entfernten Farbe und Schmutz umherspritzt und sowohl die Maschine als auch die Hände und Kleidung des mit der Bürste Arbeitenden beschmutzt. Diese Nachteile zu beseitigen ist der Zweck der Erfindung. Er wird dadurch erreicht, daß an dem Teil der Bürste, in den die Borsten eingezogen sind, ein vom Bürstenkörper bis zu den Borstenspitzen reichender Schutzmantel aus elastischem Material, zweckmäßig Gummi, Zelluloid oder sonst hierzu in Betracht kommendem Material angeordnet ist. In der Zeichnung wird der Gegenstand der Erfindung näher erläutert, und zwar zeigt Fig. r. einen Längsschnitt und Fig. 2 einen Querschnitt durch die Bürste. Hierbei ist a der Teil der Bürste, in den die Borsten c eingezogen sind, und b der Stiel oder Griff. Die Bürste kann zweckmäßig aus reinen Borsten, Kunstfasern, Draht oder sonstigem beliebigem glattem oder gewelltem Material bestehen. Um den Teil a ist eine aus elastischem Material bestehende Ummantelung d angeordnet, die das ungehinderte Arbeiten der Borsten gestattet, jedoch gleichzeitig das Verspritzen der Reinigungsflüssigkeit und auch des gelösten Schmutzes verhindert. Die Vorrichtung verhindert somit die Verunreinigung der Umgebung der zu putzenden Flächen, verhütet Beschmutzen der Kleidung, der Hände und erspart Zeit, Arbeitskraft und einen unnötigen Aufwand an Reinigungsmitteln.
