Description
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren für Feuerlöschzwecke zum Regeln der Menge der von einer Strahlpumpe in die druckführende Wasserleitung einzubringenden Flüssigkeit, z. B. von Schaumbildner für. die Luftschaumerzeugung. Zu dem Zweck, die von einem als Strahlpumpe ausgebildeten, in den druckführenden Wasserstrom eingeschalteten Zumischer dem Wasser zugemischte Flüssigkeit, z. B. Schaumbildner, hinsichtlich der strömenden Menge zu beeinflussen, sind verschiedene Verfahren bekanntgeworden. So wird z. B. in den Strom der zuzumischenden Flüssigkeit ein Drosselorgan eingeschaltet, durch das die in der Zeiteinheit fließende Flüssigkeitsmenge bestimmt wird, oder es wird eine vor der Treibdüse der Strahlpumpe abzweigende und hinter dem Diffusor derselben wieder in die Druckwasserleitung mundende Zweigleitung mit einem Drosselorgan versehen und durch Änderung des Durchflußwiderstandes der Zweigleitung bewirkt, daß die im engsten Querschnitt der Treibdüse herrschende Wassergeschwindigkeit und damit der zum LAnsaugen der Flüssigkeit verfügbare Unterdruck größer oder kleiner wird, so daß die in der Zeiteinheit angesaugte Flüssigkeitsmenge sich ebenfalls ändert.
