However, since hanging devices overlap the mattress frame in a portal-like manner at a relatively large distance, the diameter of a washing machine that can accommodate such a crow's bed must be relatively large.

In the case of lifting devices that are only located on the headboard, it is possible to dismantle the lifting device and place it on the mattress frame in order to keep the diameter required by the washing machine as small as possible. This is not possible in the case of lifting devices of the type assumed by the generic model, because dismantling would involve too much effort and is therefore not carried out in practice.

No tools are required to swing the support tubes and the horizontal support tube parts upwards. The coupling-shaped joint can also be designed and arranged in such a way that no tools are required. This means that nurses in particular, i.e. non-technical people, can handle a standing device according to the invention easily and without any problems.

Cheerful embodiments

A preferred embodiment of the innovation is described in claim Z. This innovation requires relatively few, robust individual parts that practically do not wear out even after frequent use and always function equally well.

In claim 3, a preferred locking part is described for locking the coupling-shaped joint.

The mattress frame 1 is assigned two headboards 2 and 3, one of which is located at the head end and the other at the foot end. The headboards 2 and 3 essentially each consist of a U-shaped tube, which is not visible in the drawing. The two U-legs run at a distance and parallel to each other in vertical planes, while the U-shaped, horizontally running web is designated in the drawing with the reference number 4 or 5. A support tube 8 or 9 is firmly attached to each of the webs 4 or 5 via a clamping device 6 or 7. Each clamping device 6 or 7 is assigned a fastening claw 10 or 11, which have a gentle plastic coating or are made of one piece from plastic. The fastening claws 10 and 11 thus grip the horizontal, usually high-gloss chrome-plated, horizontal bar 4 or 5. The fastening claws 10 or 11 can be operated by clamping screws in the manner of clamps.

The support tubes 8 and 9, which run at an angle to one another, are connected to one another at their upper ends by a one-piece, bent horizontal support tube 12, which has a separation point 13 in the middle length region, at which it is connected by a coupling-shaped joint 14 (Fig. 2 and 3) and a locking part.

This is accompanied by a bend or angulation of the support tube parts 12a and 12b until the locking part 18 is released from the opening of the support tube part 12a (Fig. 1, dash-dotted, upper position of the support tube parts 12a and 12b). The support tube parts 12a and 12b can then be moved with the support tubes 8 and 9 by overcoming the frictional connection of the clamping device 6 and 7 on the horizontal web 4 and 5 of the bed heads 2 and 3.
