Description
Bäder zur elektrolytischen Abscheidung von glänzenden Metallniederschlägen Gegenstand des Patentes 750 1,85 sind Bäder zur elektrolvtischen Abscheidung von, Metallen, wie Gold, kupfer, Zink, Kadmium, Messing, insbesondere von Silber aus alkalisch reagierenden komplexen Bädern, welche das niederzusühlagende Metall bzw. die niederzuschlagenden Metalle in gelöster Form, z. B. als Cyanid, und außerdem Alkalimetallverbindungen, z. B. als Cyan.id, enthalten und welche durch einen Gehalt von Selen- oder/und Tellurverbindungen gekennzeichnet sind. Derartige Bäder können im Liter z. B. etwa o,oi bis :2o g Selen oder Tellur oder beide in Form löslicher Verbindungen enthalten. Nach einerAusführungsform des Patentes 750 185 können die Bäder als weitere glanzgebende Zusätze Schwefel bzw. Weitere Untersuchungen haben er,-eben, daß mit organischen Säuren, vorzugsweise Fettsäuren, kondensierte Eiweißabbauprodukte, wie sie unter den Handelsnamen Lamepon A. B. C. D. oder Lamephan bekanntgeworden sind, ausgezeichnete glanzerzeugende Zusätze für alkalisch reagierende komplexe Bäder, insbesondere cyanalkalische Bäder, für die galvanische Erzeugung von Silber-, Gold-, Kupfer-, Zink-, Kadmium- und Messingschichten darstellen. Besonders gute Wirkungen werden erzielt, wenn man den Bädern gemäß Hauptpatent, welche Selen oder/u#nd Tellur in Form löslicher Verbindungen enthalten, Kondensationsprodukte der vorstehend ggekennzeichneten Art als glanzgebende Mittel zufügt. Man erhält dann überzügge, welehe sich durch besonderen Hochglanz auszeichnen. Besondere Vorteile wer-,den erzielt bei der Behandlung profilierter Gegenstände, z. B. von Löffeln, und auch stark polie#rter Gegenstände. Durch die gemeinschaftliche An-wesenheit von Selen- oder/und Tellurverbindungen und von mit organischen Säuren kondensierten Eiweiß,abbauprodulkten tritt eine derartige Verbesserung des Glanzbereichs in einem weiten Stromdichtebereich ein, daß auch an den tiefsten Stellen profilierter Gegenstände noch ein gleichmäßiger Glanz erzeugt -wird, also das Auftreten matter Stellen in den Vertiefungen vermieden wird. Bäder gemäß Erfindung gestatten auch die Herstellung dic.kerer Ü.berzüge. Man kann z.
