Description
- Verbandmaterial für Wunden Es ist eine bekannte Erscheinung, daß Verbandmaterial für Wunden, insbesondere wenn sie stark Blut, Eiter od. dgl. absondern, nach einiger Zeit anklebt. Die Entfernung des Verbandmaterials erfordert Vorsicht, ist zeitraubend und für den Kranken oft schmerzhaft.
- Es wurde gefunden, daß Verbandmaterial diese Nachteile nicht aufweist und praktisch nicht an Wunden anklebt, wenn es mit Siliconen, z. B.
- Siliconölen oder -fetten u. dgl., imprägniert ist. Es läßt sich dann leicht und ohne Belästigung für den Patienten ablösen.
- Da aber das Verbandmaterial auch die Aufgabe hat, die Ausscheidungen der Wunden aufzusaugen, ist es zweckmäßig, das Verbandmaterial aus einem aufsaugenden, nicht imprägnierten Teil und einem imprägnierten Teil zu kombinieren, wobei der imprägnierte Teil mit der Wunde in Berührung kommt. Man verwendet z. B. ein durchlässiges, mit Siliconen imprägniertes Mullgewebe, das auf die Wunde gelegt wird. Auf dem Mullgewebe ist eine nicht imprägnierte saugfähige Schicht von z. B.
- Watte angeordnet. Ein derartiges kombiniertes Verbandmaterial klebt nicht an, ermöglicht jedoch in üblicher Weise die Entfernung der Absonderungen aus den Wunden.
