Description

The invention relates to a flashing light pre-warning system. To traffic safety an additional system for the main flashing light system is required at level crossings, So the installation of a flashing light warning signal is urgently needed.

According to the invention, in addition to the already existing, in the The main flashing light system in a suitable location near the intersection Distance a flashing light pre-warning system arranged, which in a similar way, preferably depending on the main signal system on the road user alert the danger point when a train is approaching by means of a flashing light signal power.

In the figures, an embodiment is shown on which the invention is explained. Fig. A shows the front view and Fig. B one Longitudinal section of the signal system. There are reflectors on a sturdy iron plate 2 provided in two rows. Furthermore, in the middle of the same a red light flashing device 3. The remaining field of the iron plate is covered with green unbreakable glass 4. Above the iron plate is the sign that is customary for level crossings 5 according to the existing regulations. The signal sign is on a thick-walled Tube 6 attached. A cement block, in which the pipe is poured, serves as anchoring down in the soil. With 7 the fastening screws and with 8 the power supply cable designated for the flashing light device.

PATENTANSPRÜCHE: i. Angezogene Druckschriften: Deutsche Patentschriften Nr. 714771, 656405. PATENT CLAIMS: i. Flashing light system for roads at railroad crossings with or without barriers, in which a red flashing light signal indicates to the road user that a train is approaching the crossing, characterized in that the main flashing light system in the vicinity of the crossing has an additional flashing light pre-signaling system at an appropriate distance on the street is assigned, which in a similar manner, preferably as a function of the main signaling system, draws the road users' attention to the danger point when a train is approaching by means of a flashing light signal. z. Flashing light signal system according to Claim i, characterized in that the flashing light pre-signal system consists of one of the warning signs customary at railroad crossings, in which the flashing red signal sign is attached in a green field of the sign.
