Description
Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Schmiervorrichtung für Bremsen, insbesondere an Kraftfahrzeugen, und bezweckt vor allem, das bei Bremsen auftretende Pfeifen oder Quietschen zu beseitigen. Die Erfindung besteht darin, daß in den Bremsbelag mindestens ein Graphitelement eingesetzt ist, welches den Bremsbelag durchsetzt und sich zusammen mit diesem abnutzt. Zweckmäßig sind die Graphitelemente an der auflaufenden Seite der Bremsbacke eingesetzt. Als Graphitelemente können in Bohrungen des Belages eingesetzte Bleistiftminen, z. B. von der Härte 3 B, verwendet werden. Es genügt erfahrungsgemäß eine einzige an der auflaufenden Seite der Bremsbacke eingesetzte Mine. Die Graphitelemente oder Minen können senkrecht zur Oberfläche des Bremsbelages oder auch unter einem Winkel, z. An der auflaufenden Kante 18 des Bremsbelages ist in eine Bohrung ig eine Bleistiftmine 2o eingesetzt, «-elche an der Oberfläche des Bremsbelages 17 endet und sich zusammen mit diesem abnutzt. Der hierbei abgeschliffene Graphit genügt, um den Bremsbelag ständig so viel zu schmieren, daß da's Pfeifen oder Quietschen der Bremsen unterbunden wird.The brake drum ii normally rotates in the direction of arrow 12.
