Derartige Krallendübel werden in der Weise verwendet, daß die nach beiden Seiten vorstehenden Krallen in die aufeinanderliegenden Hölzer eingepreßt werden. Es ist bekannt, ,die Krallen durch einen Preßvorgang zuzuspitzen, um die zum Einpressen erforderliche Kraft klein zu halten. .Das hat den Nachteil, daß für das Zuspitzen der Krallen ein besonderer Arbeitsgang erforderlich ist.
