Nenn man nun eine Röhre mit derart niedrigen Anodenspannungen betreibt, so ist nicht allein die Verstärkung geringer als bei den üblichen Anodenspannungen, die in der Größe von Zoo Volt und mehr liegen, sondern es wird auch der Aussteuerbereich stark eingeengt. Die niedrigeren Verstätikungsziffern lassen sich durch Erhöhung der IZöhreiistufeiizähl eines Verstärkers ausgleichen. Dagegen bedeutet die Einengung des Aussteuerbereiches einen mitunter erheblichen Nachteil.
