Description
Die Gummifeder gemäß der Erfindung lxeruhi darauf, daß das Volumen eines Gummikörpers, der von allen Seiten so begrenzt ist, daß das Gummi nicht ausweichen kann, bei Ausübung eines Druckes auf das Gutami unter Erzielung einer entsprecbciiden Arbeitsleistung verringert wird. Gegenüber bekannten Federn dieser Art besteht die Erfindung darin, daß einem allseitig begrenzten Gummikörper eitle Stahlfeder vorgeschaltet ist derart, daß der unter Druck gesetzte Gummikörper zunächst die Stahlfeder spannt, bis diese wie auch der Gummikörper eine Begrenzung nach außen findet, .so daß bei weiterer Pressung des Gummikörpers dieser sein Volumen verringern muß. Die Wirkung der neuen Feder besteht also darin, daß bei einer Pressung des Gummikörpers das Gummivolumen vorerst expandieren kann, wobei die Stahlfeder entsprechend beansprucht wird, während nach Eintritt der Begrenzung von Stahlfeder und Gummikörper nach außen das Gummi nicht weiter expandieren kann und nun eine Volumenverminderung des Gummis stattfindet, wobei hohe Kraft- und Arbeitsgrößen erzielt werden.The rubber spring according to the invention lxeruhi that the volume a rubber body which is limited on all sides so that the rubber does not give way can, when exerting pressure on the gutami, achieving a corresponding Work output is reduced. Der Spielraum ist zweckmäßig so gewählt, daß bei elastischer Dehnung des Ringes b und bei Ausdehnung desselben bis an die Innenwandung des Gehäuses a der Ring bis zur höchstzulässigen Grenze beansprucht wird. Diese Dehnung erfolgt durch die innerhalb des federnden Ringes b vorgesehene Gummifüllung c, die durch den Stempel d, auf den die Kraft P wirkt, unter Druck gesetzt wird. Damit das Gummi auch nach oben eine Begrenzung findet, ist das Gehäuse a durch einen eingeschraubten Deckel e oder in anderer Weise geschlossen. Wird nunmehr die. Kraft P wirksam, so wird, solange diese noch verhältnismäßig klein ist, der Stempel d auf das Gummi drücken und letzterer den federnden lZing b elastisch spanncli. Sobald die Kraft so weit gewachsen ist, daß sich der Ring b gegen die Innenwandung des Gehäuses n anlegt, kann eine elastische Dehnung des Ringes nicht mehr erfolgen.
